Judging by the response to this post, It seems that most people don't care about CP closing 2 hours early for a week. It seems to have oddly triggered a bigger response for coastermania. Well, if you cant beat them join them (I am still a little peeved though).
I do plan on becoming a member of ACE but I was wondering one thing.
What is to stop other people from getting on during Evening ERT?
And if they are planning to let the rides stay open an extra 2 hours for the Joe Cool Club, I am WAY DOWN with that. Close the park at Noon then.

When you get to the park on Coastermainia Day, you check in (usually at the Season Pass Center). You need to present your valid coaster club membership card and admission (CP season passes are valid for Coastermainia, as are parking passes). You are then issued a badge which you must be wearing to get in to ERT. You also get a lunch ticket, which gets you a free lunch in the Pavilion (though this has nothing to do with ERT). It is, however, a class act.

Very nice collectable buttons as well, at least for me. I got both kinds last year. It you went early, you got the cool one, and then the more dull ones later.
