First Time Screamster

I just accepted my job for being a screamster in Eerie Estates. This will be my first year and im so excited! I will be staying in the dorms for the full two months because i live 4 hours away.

The questions i have are , Are their internet connections in the dorms or anywhere because i will be taking my college classes online during the week. Also i was wondering If food would be provided or would i need to bring money?

The internet connection is crap. If you can get tether through your mobile device, even on 3G, it's a much better deal than the WiFi here.

There's no food provided, so bring enough money to eat for three weeks, max. There is an employee cafeteria, though, which offers food at a much lower price than the public areas. An average meal will run you roughly $5+.

The internet in the dorms is spotty at best, although if you're there during the week, you have the benefit of having fewer people there to clog up the system. At worst, the library isn't too far of a walk, and if you have a car there's always coffee shops and such around town to get free internet.

Definitely bring money for food. You can eat for fairly cheap at the employee cafeteria, but their hours are very limited during the weeks when the park is closed. I'd suggest some microwavable stuff to eat in the dorms during the week. Having a mini-fridge in your room helps, but isn't completely necessary, and you might luck out and land with a roommate who would be willing to share space in theirs. Microwaves are provided in the lounge areas of the dorms.

You're going to love Eerie Estates. It's easily my favorite themed house at the park (with Toy Factory in a close 2nd).

I've been hired for Eerie Estates as well. The place looks great and is sure to be a lot of fun! Can't wait to see our costumes and make up in a few weeks. :-)
