I have a few quick questions about my stay at Lighthouse Point.
One on the Causeway, what do I do?
Where is the checkin office at Lighthouse Point?
What is the nearest park gate to Lighthouse Point? How do I get to it?
Which cabins do they tend to fill up first, the large group or the ones closest to MS?
What is Lighthouse Point's alcohol policy?
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

On the causeway, stay in the left lane and tell them you're
going to LP. You'll have to pay to park, but they'll refund
it at the desk when you check in. Drive around perimeter rd.
When you get past Mean Streak, you'll come to a left turn.
There'll be a sign pointing you to LP. After you turn left,
the office will be on your left. Hard to miss. The general store
faces Mean Streak, the office, in the same building faces the
lake. That's where you'll check in. The nearest gate is
the resort gate, right over by Magnum. Just walk toward
Magnum's lift hill, there are two ways to get there. Either walk
between Rip Cord and perimeter rd, Gemini will be on your
right, and that sidewalk leads around to the gate. Or, you
can go to the other side of RC, toward Soak City, and go
around that way. Not sure about what cabins fill up first,
but as far as alcohol, I'm sure you can have whatever
beverages there you want, as long as you don't get out
of hand and cause people to complain.
I do complain if I am not invited to these alcohol related parties. Just a forewarning.
You might get a visit from the party patrol if you bring your drinks out.
By the way, you're gonna love Lighthouse Point. In my opinion,
it blows any of the other resorts away. And also, I'll be
there pretty soon myself and I expect there to be a cold
one waiting on me for all my helpful tips.
If you bring your Lighthouse Point reservation confirmation and show it to the front gate, they will not make you pay.
At least thats what happened the last time I stayed at the Breakers (was a few years ago though.)
