I know. That was the most G-rated response I could come up with...

The main difference between Kings Island and Cedar Point in this regard is that Cedar Point has a full operating "Dress Rehearsal" on the Friday before Opening Day. So, typically downtimes are really cut down.

Oh wow...they do? I had no idea. Since they're already paying employees, why not open this day (half day or whatever it is) up to season pass or Platinum Pass holders for an even better practice warm-up? That'd be awesome...I'd be there every year. Apparently King's Island used to do just this in the Paramount years, or so I've read.

They did, back during my era there (mid 1970's). It was CKLW's preview night and the station gave away thousands of tickets for the Friday night before the opening Saterday. They came in caravans of buses from Detroit and Toledo (you couldn't drive there yourself as I recall). The crowd was comparatively small, but very "active" which gave the newbies an idea what they were in for the rest of the season.

Either Windseeker or Maverick... it depends on where we park I guess

If I were to make the trip to CP this year, it would be either Demon Drop or Chaos... It's a coin flip!!! ;-)

Frog hopper.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Sadly, I can't be at Cedar Point on opening day like I usually am :(, but, the Thursday after opening day, my entire high school gets to go as a "before exams" day-off sort of thing... And I will be for sure riding Wicked Twister first.

Even though Windseeker will be delayed, I still plan to head over to Wicked Twister first. This way when I'm done with my Marathon, I can just head over to Windseeker and just take pictures of the progress.

Providing I can find someone to go with, since the original person had to work... it will be Magnum.
