First Coaster

I haven't been to Cedar Point in seven years. I'm going August 2-3 and could not be more excited. I'm trying to figure out my plan of attack and what coaster I should hit first.

We don't have early entry, and probably won't have fast passes. Any recommendations on the best coaster to hit first thing at 10?

Without early entry, I would say do Dragster or Maverick first thing depending on which one is more important for you. Avoid anything at the front of the park, and hit them later in the day.

I would try to hit the new rides that weren't there seven years ago!

Maverick is a really good option because that is in the back of the park and is new since the last time you've been there!

I am not. Staying at the Hojo by the entrance.

We ended up going to Gatekeeper first and only waited 20 minutes day 1, and TD the second day and only waited 40 minutes!
