Finally...what an unbelievable ride!

Well, I got back to CP yesterday, and I was among those who ran to MF when the gates opened. When the queue opened, I ended up on the bridge leading to the station. I expected to sit there until 10, cause I didn't know they started MF early. Well, at 9:07, the first train with people lifted out of the station. I was surprised that they ran no test trains. Anyway, they were only running red and yellow in the morning, and I got yellow for my first ride on MF. I was the 8th train out of the station. I rode 3rd car 1st seat, I think. Fantastic ride, got wonderful air over all the hills...met my expectations.

Then I went back to MF around 2:45 and sat at the start of the line so I'd be one of the first 5 people let in when 4:00 rolled around and TTR ended. Good thing, since the line was way past Tenderfoot Pass by the time they opened the queue. I was thinking a 20 min. wait, but it broke down for about 15 minutes. They got it fixed, had all 3 trains running, and I got in very fast. Ended up riding first car second seat on blue, and all I can say is "Damn." That ride was the best ride I'd ever had on any roller coaster, at any time, ever. I can't believe the force of the wind on your body when riding in the front car. Plus, being able to see the whole lift hill on the way up certainly lets you know how high it was. It was running noticably faster in the afternoon than it was when I rode it at 9:15. I didn't touch my seat over any of the hills. How can people say there's no airtime on this coaster?? Just pure speed, force, and power. I got off and I was absolutely stunned. MF is my new #1 for sure. I never expected it to be as good as it really is..and I had high expectations. Wow.

Good to hear Jman. All in all, reviews have been excellent for MF. I've only read 2 or 3 negative reviews. I have to wait 25 days to ride MF but I bet its worth the wait!
Millennium Force rocks. I rode twice, once in the 1st car front seat and once in the second car front seat. So both rides I got massive air time. And it was the sweetest thing in the world. Millennium Force is the new number 1 on my list right next to the Magnum.

Yes it does rock!!!!!!! I was there yesterday, and was so surprised to see it running so early...I was pleased, it allowed me to get 3 rides in in one day and still hit all the other major coasters too, some more than once. Pure speed, lotsa airtime.....doesn't get any better than this!!! We had a little one with us, so couldn't "run" back to get in line, but did get to ride by 10:30, but it was down for nearly 15 minutes, JUST as we were getting on...talk about anxiety, standing there...waiting patiently while they kept trying to get the automatic mode to work...it about killed me, but a 4 hour wait would have been worth it now that I've experienced this monster of a coaster!

20 years since my last visit to the Point...that all comes to an end July 11!!!!!!!
I finally got to ride about a week ago. I was so lucky. Even with the assigned seating, I ended up riding for the first time in the first row. My wife bowed out of this opportunity (her loss) and I ended up riding with my brother. The next two rides I got to ride in the back and even though riding in front was definitely an experience to behold, there is nothing like getting all that air time from the back seat. I was able to get my lap bar a little loose. I was out of my seat from the time we hit the top of the first hill to the bottom of it. It almost felt as it I were going to fly right out. Amazing ride. Next month, another Intamin creation: Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE). Can't wait. I have a new favorite coaster manufacturer
