I'm happy with the Challenge Park deals as well as the BOGO games at the front game plaza. Can't wait for Monday.

I'm a little confused about the Maverick Souviner Bottle discount. Do we need to get a braclet to get the 99 cent refills or do we just show our passes. How much did it cost last year to get a bottle last year? I thought it was the same $7.95 as this year.
I thought that you show your pass, buy the bottle at the discounted rate, and then bring it back for each visit all season long and they refill it for 99 cents. Meaning you're saving money on the initial purchase, but getting the same refill discount as everyone else would get. Is that NOT how it works?
How much more weight loss will it take to get on Raptor, Mantis, MF and TTD?
Is it just me, or does it seem like they've cut down the Point Perks this year? Wouldn't they offer more Point Perks with the economy the way it is right now?
So stoked for 2010 :]

I wonder if they consider the games along the Max-Air Midway to be part of the Main Midway games for the 2 for 1 deal. Last year they were included. The wording may have been different on the website last year, I don't remember. Also the games on the Gemini Midway were 2 for 1 last year. I think the website mentioned them specifically though.
Does anyone know how the Ripcord $10 off works? It says $10 off any *flight*, but if you get 2 people going and they both have Platinum Passes, is that $10 off the flight or $20 off the flight ($10/person)?
If I remember right from last season, it's 10 dollars off the total cost of the flight. One deal per flight. So the prices with discount are:
35 for 3 people
34 for 2 people
20 for 1 person
I am much more excited about Skyscraper. Didn't it cost 20 last year to ride? According to the Challenge Park site, the cost is now 10 dollars per ride!

Oh man, I'm going to Scrape more Sky than anyone has ever scraped before. I'll probably even take a few flights on Ripcord this year. Challenge Park prices are much more reasonable this year.

Didn't they post the chainwide benefits last year as a PDF? Maybe they're not all finalized yet. But you still get all parks' perks, right?
Why would they want to use coupons, which require excess paper, when they could just check passes?
Anyway, I'm liking the discounts, but I agree that it feels like there were more last year.
For the cup and refill perk is this the large Maverick cup (the long skiny one) or is it the small cup with the Maverick logo on it?

Skyscraper was 20 dollars, buy one get one free after the first 2 weeks or so. So 10 dollars a person as long as you had a friend. If you didn't you got 2 rides for 20 dollars.
That means this year its only 5 dollars a person for platinum passholders which is a great deal.
2007,2008 Ripcord
That sounds great, I have yet to do anything in challenge park, so this year I definitely would like to ride skyscraper and ripcord.

The flights are sold as one package, not per person, so any discounts apply to the cost of the flight, not the cost per person. At least this is how it's been in the past.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
With the price drop I'll deffinetly ride more. Usually I'd buy a ride for $20 and save my free one for another day. Now I'll probably ride both in the same day. I'll probably take a few flights on Ripcord too when I usually would pass it up.

Ok, I searched for awhile, but I couldn't find an answer to this question about the Point Perks bonus ride time days...
This is my first year with a Platinum Pass, so I haven't ever participated in the bonus ride time, but it sounds awesome. My question is...does the bonus ride time on rides begin after the line clears out, or does it start exactly at park closure and last an hour?
In other words, let's hypothetically say that Maverick had a 1-hour wait and the park closed at 8PM. Would the bonus ride time start at 8PM and last until 9PM, such that the bonus ride was kind of worthless? Or do they let the line clear out and give you a nice full hour of true exclusive ride time?
Since there are only 4 of these days, you'd think they'd cut the line at park closure, let the line clear out, and reopen the line once the final people are in the station. Start the clock, 1 full hour. Is this the case?
It seems the Bring-A-Friend Day- for Memorial Day has been removed from the point perks list. This is a real bummer because I was going to try to go!
On a side note: A new Point Perk has been added for a discount on merchandise at the Surf Shop at Soak City!

They also removed the Donut Time perk. I wonder why they changed things around so quickly?
