Point Perks

Looks like everyone can enjoy their 2-for on Skyscraper and $10 off Ripcord again, as well as Sunday Sundaes!

Everything looks good to me, except for the fact that the Challenge Park deals require coupons from the SP Center... Last year, you just had to show your card. I wonder why the change this year?

I'm going to guess they were giving 2-for deals and discounts to people who didn't have Platinum passes last year and had no real way of tracking it.

This way they have some sort of paper trail. But, is the season pass center open an hour after the park closes? ALso, you'll have to walk all the way from the back of the park to the front just for the coupon. Seems like there could be an easier way than that. Possibly having the admission office at the Magnum entrance handle it?

I wonder if I can get several coupons at once when I process my pass on Friday, or if they will only give you one at a time?

Darn...

No free apitizer at game day grill this year. Even more of a reason for me not to eat in the park.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This is my first season with a Platinum Pass. So, not knowing what you guys have had before, I think that these are pretty good. There are a lot of perks. A lot more than Kings Island has that is for sure.

I'm looking forward to getting to the park and taking advantage of as many as possible.

Can friend without a platinum pass take part in ERT?

I seriously doubt it, they've never been able to in the past.

No, I don't believe so. The only exception would be if the pass holder's guests are also resort guests, as they get ERT as well.

Correct. Last year when I did not have a pass I stayed at Breakers Express with my friends just so that we could get in early.

I wonder if there will be an exception to that on "Bring-A-Friend" day.

Well they certainly are rounding out their platinum pass perks.

I wish I had last years brochure on it. But to me it seems they have a better selection of discounts, or more discounts in more areas.

I think it would be a good idea to let them in early. That way if they have never had a taste of ERT before they may be more apt to buy a Platinum pass for the next year so they can get that perk.

I may be wrong, but I think it would be good.

I'm personally glad they brought back the free fries with the burger at Coasters. The burgers aren't the best, but they're also not terrible. And that makes a small meal somewhat affordable.

I think the Point Perks are pretty good. The only thing i am a little upset about is Skyhawk isn't on the perks. For the last 3 years it has been. Sometimes Magnum xl-200 was operating last season during Point Perks.

I'm a little confused about the Maverick Souviner Bottle discount. Do we need to get a braclet to get the 99 cent refills or do we just show our passes. How much did it cost last year to get a bottle last year? I thought it was the same $7.95 as this year.

I think the standard non passholder rate is 99 cents. If not I think you just show your pass.

^Is this the Large Maverick cup (Red, Blue, Orange) or the small maverick cups.

Well I did just post my CP prices thread. 08 vs 09.

So go on there and compare what we have to work with.

I saw the cup price and thought myself the price was in fact raised.

Maybe the coupons are just also available at the pass center. That's just my 2 cents. Other than that I love the return of the Skyscaper deal as well as Ripcord. Come on friday, HURRY UP!!1
