Final Weekend 10/29-10/31

My wife and I got to Hotel Breakers around 230pm. They upgraded our room for the second year in a row. I was able to have a couple of cocktails and a cigar by the beach before we headed in for ERT at 5.

To me the park was not crowded at all on Friday. We were able to do all the rides and haunted houses and had a great time. Weather was a little cool but could have been worse. My wife finally gained enough courage and rode Dragster for her first time. And guess what she loved it!!

All of the haunted houses and scare zones were great as usual. The only one that to me is not getting better is Cornstalkers. I loved it the first year but now it is just ok. But that is just my opinion.

I cant believe we never watched the Warlord unleash the screamsters that was pretty awesome. For 5 years we have been coming to Halloweekends and never saw that. Shame on me!!

One thing I can not stand is when punks mouth off at the screamsters or get in there face and say "whats up" or "you cant scare me" or just act like morons and disrespect the Screamster. I saw this on several occasions Saturday night. I wanted to go up to those punks and give them a smack. Why go to a haunted house or scare zone if you can't have fun with it. Sorry for the rant but that just really bothers me and I feel for the screamsters whey have to deal with those idiots.

A highlight of the trip for me was when we were walking back to the hotel and I noticed a new Dodge Challenger with the license plates that said "LUCIFER" (I am an Athiest). That made the day even better!!!

Thank you Cedar Point for another great season. See you next year...

That Dodge is a good friend of mine's car. I'll pass on the compliment.

Last nights Overlord. First time I had seen it as well.

I just want to say thank you for this :-)

^ Agreed! It's good to know not everyone thinks the same way as the disrespectful punks. Unfortunately, it seems the punk to not punk ratio increases a little more every year.

No problem!!

I also forgot to mention that I say Tony on Saturday and was able to say hi to him while walking on the Midway.

I was in the parade (along with being a pirate) and saw Tony while I was dancing! I was excited to see him in the park :-)

also don't worry about having not seen the overlord the past five years we've only been doing it 2 so its not like you've been missing it the whole time haha.

S.T.A. - died with the Fright Zone

Didn't the Overlord costume originally come from Geauga Lake? And preceding that, I even remember seeing it during the SFWoA days.

Agreed on the Overlord - it's a nice way to start off the evening's festivities.
