Female Ride Host Uniform Change?

...I really hope they change them this year. They were terrible and by the end of the season so many girls had boy uniforms.
Not to mention all of the guest complaints for the female uniforms. If i met someone and they told me how bad it was, I told them they could go to park ops and complain for us...they usually did. :)

I did notice that last year. Were they bad quality, is that why girls were wearing guys uniforms? I wasn't sure if I liked them or not, but I don't think they were all that flattering for a bigger person.

I didn't go to the park at all because I was pregnant, were the new uniforms from 2009 or 2010?

the "new" uniforms were from the 90's. there were in the training videos we had to watch. they were terrible quality and very hot.

not to mention the ascot and the zipper that went all the way down the front of the uniform. Going to the bathroom as an experience in itself. And the belts that had to be safety pinned to hold itself up

the uniforms were TERRIBLE but I did like them over the guys for ONE reason, TAN LINES. the shorts that i normally wear hit at the same length as the uniform so on my day off i didnt have freakishly white legs above my knees. they also were a lot better when we got the new belts, the only uniform problem I ever had was one time my belt loop broke because you had to safety pin the belts to fit.

I could see the (forgive me for not knowing the proper term) tie being a safety issue. I know when working at Kings Island we weren't allowed to have anything hanging from our bodies.

I think those uniforms are very ugly and most of my friends who work at other parks would quit if they had to wear that uniform. So for those Ride Ops at Cedar Point, I hope you get new uniforms!

Haha, that was the one of the only advantages to being a sweep. Gotta say, our uniforms were pretty cute. :P

Ahhh they were from the 90's? Wow, way to go retro, lol! I can't remember the safety videos, it was over 6 years ago going on 7 since I watched those. Ew, I don't think I would want to show off the cellulite if those shorts are as short as they appear. And the zipper goes all the way from top to bottom? That would make quite the strip tease! :P

Those were the same uniforms the girls wore back in the early 80s.

my friends zipper split all the way down while we were at Arby's...it took about 30 minutes for us to fix int he bathroom...it was terrible

My zipper split while working...wardrobe was closed already.I had to wear a sweater and it was like a bajillion degrees outside. I hope they don't make us wear those stupid things again.

are girls actually allowed to wear male uniforms or is that against the rules?

i had a guys uniform last year...everyone this next year will have the same uniform.

I had the guys uniform last year too. I think by the end of the season half the girls in Area 2 had guy uniforms.
