favorite station architecture?

Which coaster station at the Point is your favorite? Architecturally?

It's difficult to say which one is my favorite, although it used to be Iron Dragon, before they painted it those hiddeous colors. It's also interesting to note how station architecture has changed over the years. If you look at the coasters around the point, MOST of the periods in which they were built can be figured out if you look at the station architecture. For example, Raptor's colors, round pink dots and light fixtures SCREAM early '90's, while Magnum's station ceiling, train, and white building look very late 80's.

I've always thought of this myself for a long time. Way before, TTD, WT, MF, Mantis, Raptor, MS, and Maggie, I've always liked the staitons of Corkscrew and Gemini to this day. I wish Corkscrew would get its graphics back on the front car of each train, and the banners hung back up in the station.

Dragster's station seems to be the most eye catching in my opinion, but I've always loved Magnum's and Gemini's stations. Of course, I love Wicked Twister's too although there really isn't much of a theme to it ;)

The stations that I always have like are TTD, WT, MF, Mantis, Raptor, and Gemini's. :) ;) But I have to kina go along with S2Kster with WT not haveing much of a theme to it.

I like millennium Forces

I love the Gemini station above all.

It's controlled chaos when you're waiting with a lot of people in there. Just really adds to the atmosphere.

My favorite is Raptor.

Disaster Transport's. ;)

I really like Gemini's, especially after it's new paint.

I'll have to go with Millennium Force's station. Especially when all the lights are working at night. WT gets a close second for the gorgeous view of the beach.

Mean Streak's station has an eerie feeling to it during the dark hours and when it is empty. (Espesically during Halloweekends. :-))

Archtiecture wise, Gemini's station has always been unique with it's space-frame, but Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster's station set a new standard for Cedar Point in well-designed, well-detailed, and visually eye-catching buildings. Kudos to Rob Decker and crew for the quality work.

I would probably have to say that I like Millenium's the best, but when Gemini is really full, I love it. I feel like I'm at a party. lol.

Does the archtiecture of the station contribute to the attitude of the people inside? i.e. does Gemini's station design contribute the the "party atmosphere"?

I love Gemini and WT stations. Gemini because of how it looks and what everyone else has been saying about it, adn WT because it's literally right on the beach and seems very very open.

Gemini's station with the party attitude thing, I think the archtiecture does add to it.

Plus I just love the fact that it doesn't feel confining, it's more of a walk up pick a space and wait. Controlled chaos is the only way i can think of to describe it. It's different towards the end of the night and it's empty though. It does feel like a party in there, unless of course you get stuck crammed next to someone who smells rather foul. Not trying to be a jerk, but some people just don't think some mornings.

Dragster's station has a very unique look and feel to it. It is very open and has a graceful curved roof. There's no other station like it.

My two favorite stations have got to be MF and Gemini. However, I do have to give the edge to Gemini. It's designed really nice and I do like the skylight roof in the station. That's a nice feature.

I agree with Raptor Rider with the skylights, it adds a really nice touch. I also give big ups to Magnum and Raptor. Raptor makes you feel as if you were in line to get into some sort of warehouse rave party which is really cool with all the metal everywhere. And magnum just looks realy cool, i dont know why but it just does, it looks like a future space station which is basically the theme of the ride.

P.S. Disaster transports station used to be the best of all, its still really good, but now all the robots, lasers and cool stuff is all gone.

Gemini and TTD have to be my favorite stations. I really like the lighting in TTD, and the colors of Gemini. Disaster Transport's station does have some cool parts, but you can see right through the operation station to unloading.

Talking in cosmetics, Iron Dragons station is one of the best looking, and Corkscrew's got that Japanise thing going which is pretty sweet.
