Favorite place to stay and why!

Camper Village. I like staying there because it is a family tradition dating back to before I can even remember. Currently, I miss going there, because it has now been three years since I have gone to CP.

Wow DB, you must be one of the only people who *like* to stay in the Bon Aire section of the hotel! I usually heard nothing but people complaining about it!

Favorite place that I've actually stayed: BonAir wing of the Breakers. Hands down. Nothing like waking up in the morning, throwing open the curtains and having both Maggie and Millie outside your window.

Hey Duane, was this a room that consisted of 2 full size beds with a "non view". Besides the view, is the room a dive? Does it just smell of cigarette smoke? We usually stay in the room that has the one king bed, went the cheaper route this year to save a few bucks. Just wanting to know what we got ourselves into. Any info is greatly appreciated.

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

We stay at the BonAir every June, for the Ohio Prosecutor's conference. Two or three years ago, I was packing up to leave, when my son came running in to announce that Maggie was stuck. We had a great time watching all the people get "rescued" One lady was so scared she walked down facing the railing, two hands on. Those in the front cars were cheering. Those in the back were shaking with fear. What a hoot! (I admit, the mattresses were lumpy, the whole place has a "campy" atmosphere and it's a long walk to the pool. BUT it's a short walk to the gate. And we like to camp.)

So, we also like Camper Village. It's great to be able to go back, eat a cheap meal, and head right back to the rides. When my husband (who hates coasters) is sick of holding the bag while we ride, he heads back to our camper, reads a book and chills while we play.

When we're on a tight budget (we do go a lot--the $ gets low LOL) we stay at Camp Sandusky, which is only 10 minutes away, and means we don't have to drive home at midnight, toothpicks in our eyes, trying to stay awake while the kids snore in the back seat.
