I would like to know the memory that stood out the most to you while you were at cedar point.
mine was when a couple of us got togther at louie's and an english freind of mine was talking to this girl, he offered to buy her a drink and she said just get me a brewsky. so he walked up to the bar and asked for a brewsky without skipping a beat, the bartender got a strange look on his face and asked what kind? A brewsky he said again, then he finally realized that it meant a beer, and he had to hurry and decide what kind of a beer to get this poor girl waiting. his face was red for a week after that!!!!
Mine was when my roomate called me from NYC Jail to tell me he wasnt coming into work the next day.

July 10, 1983... Commons Parking Lot approx. 7:30p.m. As a group of nine tried to pile into one car to go to the Huron Water Festival, I being the tallest sat in the front seat passenger side. The shortest girl then sat on my lap. Fast forward to December 2, 1999, that short girl has been my wife for 14 1/2 years. I only attended the Huron Water Festival once but what a trip!!!!!
Woa, I dont think anyone is going to beat that one!

Nashmire,
Thanks for your comments about my post. I would like to hear about the "phone call" you received. That had to be tooo funny. It reminds me of the year I lived in the Commons and one of the "roommates" while driving drunk took out the chain link fence at the enterance to the Commons Lot. He survived the crash but needless to say that was the end of his employment at The Point.
I noticed that they were doing some repair work late last summer on the new fence they put up, must of happened again. Also, one of the lifeguards, two years ago, told me how he missed the turn near the Breakers lot and took out some of the concrete curb. Didn't say if he was drunk, but he was proud that he didn't get caught!
This summer on the Employee Bus..."Yellow Lightning"...can't call it Blue Thunder cuz its yellow, but we went to turn into the side lot at Cedars before they opened up the marina, ans we hit the fence next to the train stroage building and shattered one of those tempered glass windows in the back! Needless to say the bus driver lost her job.

My roomate took took his day off and went to NYC with a couple of freinds. They decided to have a couple beers then drive through Harlem. They were stopped by the cops because he had a tail light out. Being the smart ass that he is he got into with the cops because they stopped them in the middle of the ghetto for a tail light. After a breathalizer, he spent the night in jail.

Until the baby geese get bigger, they need to be brought in every night from the pond. Needless to say, the goose does not like this and will run away from the pet farmers trying to catch it. One time the goose jumped the wall enclosing the pond area, and decided to go running into the nearby women's restroom. Then I've been told that there was a bunch of screaming and people running out! I thought it was funny, even though I wasn't around to witness it.
sorry Snoop19, but I don't think the general public needs to hear about such things.

Speaking of Blue Thunder, I remember back in '97 when the bus driver decided to go like 50mph through the toll booths, only she did not make it taking half of the roof off of the second booth with her side mirror!! She did not get fired for it though, she only had to pay for it....she got fired when she backed into a family member of Dick Kinzel in the Cedars Parking lot!!!
Well, it was freaky at the time but mine would have to be the Halloweekend that Tony played a joke on me! Cliff and I were in Happy Friar getting Power Towers and Tony snuck in the side door. I went to go turn the lights off and saw the door was cracked open, I asked Cliff if he had opened it and he hadn't. When I turned around Tony jumped out of the shadows, yelled, and grabbed my arm. I must have jump about twenty feet. I definately won't forget that one!

My favorite memory had to be watching Lee and Joel at Friday's on the Fourth of July. About this time I met a girl who I eventually married.
Second favorite memory: Riding the second train on Raptor on opening day. My friend and I were first in line but the first train was raffled off to raise money for the Red Cross. No doubt after that first ride that Raptor was a winner!
I've had so many good times at cp that it's hard to pick just one. I think my weirdest from this year had to be the drunk Scottish lifeguard who just would not stop kissing me while me (now ex) lifeguard boyfriend stood there and laughed. I couldn't get the Scottish guy to stop kissing me and after about the third one, he finally said, by the way, what's your name? I thought my boyfriend was gonna pee himself from laughing so hard. I really appreciated all his help at the time ;)
