The strobe part of the cycle is my favorite. But, when you are near it, the purple is pretty cool too.
I thought magnums lighting scheme was the best when it had that strobe or whatever the hell it was shooting up and down the lift hill at a fast rate of speed. This was back when it was first built. Does anyone know when they got rid of that lighting scheme?

It probably caused the light bulbs to burn out at a faster rate, and they stopped wanted to pay to replace them.
When looking at MF, I like the strobe effect, straight white, and black light (purple). When riding it no lights is the best. I think I've ridden it once or twice without lights during a HalloWeekend, and it was awesome.

I think its cool to see the hill light up while your waiting in line. When your in line and the lightning affect is going on, you can barely see the train go up. It's almost like the train is lost in the night.
I think the quick flashing of multiple colors is pretty cool

I like when MF goes red, white, and blue. I also like the spots on TTD, I also like Power Tower and Mean Streak. But my all time favorite is riding TTD at night. You can see the whole park lit up and its cool going 120 in darkness with lights whizzing past you.

Millennium Force is kind of similar only in some spots your practically flying through just the night. I think that is so cool. I know what your referring to though, it's fun to ride that ride at night as well, but I prefer Millennium Force at Night over Dragster. Also another good ride is Wicked Twister. Its fun to ride that at night because you can marathon it. Nobody rides that ride towards closing time.
Red, white and blue on millenium are the best. I also like the Meanstreak at night too.

The MF lights are nice, but I still miss the chasing strobes that once flashed on Magnum's lift hill.

Its all white light, but it is underlit so the shadows make some cool visual effects on the structure.

That's part of MS lit up at night.

Now that I think about It I've been over there, by Mean Streak around dark time, it's so much like a ghost town that it's scary. But Mean Streak and the other rides give you some good light but I"m talking about people at that end of the park.
