What's your favorite thing at Halloweekends. Haunted Houses, Fright Zones or just some of the props snd stuff they set up around the park. My favorite is CarnEvil and the old ride cemetary.
I think the most distrubing decoration, is the sky ride car that looks like it's dropped off the ride! Love the option of taking the sky ride, but now and then can't help but wonder what would happen if something went wrong. Therefore the sky ride car crash is kinda disturbing to me! =)
I am probably alone here but I LOVE the halloweekends midway music even the Camp Spooky midway music. I would love to get a compilation of all the midway music for halloweekends.
Don't anger the Potato People.
Y'all ready for some serious sidewindin' in 2007?
Mean Streak 03
Those were the days.
CarnEVIL and U R Dade are my favorites. Riding MF in the fog is awesome too (last time I was there, they fogged out the bottom of the first drop IIRC)
2008 - Games (Area 3/Scales)
2009 - Games Supervisor
2010 - Season pass holder.
I love Carnevil and the Fright Zone. I am not a big fan of the haunted houses. I also love the music and Land of the Lost Rides.

I like to see all of CP's past rides. It's kind of neat to see what they used to have and what they have now.
I just love the general atmosphere of the park during Halloweekends with all of the Halloween decorations and I love the fog.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I like seeing the costumed characters out and about. They really relate to the guests and have a great time together.
Music is an awesome touch too, I love Ghostbusters! The people that I brought to the park this last weekend (who have never experienced Halloweekends) had a blast singing along with the tunes and imitating Michael Jacksons "Thriller".
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
My favorite thing (other than Fright Zone of course :)) is the "Dead Rock Buffet" graveyard near Coasters and Matterhorn.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Halloweekends is my FAVORITE time of the season at Cedar Point. I love all of the scary decorations in the park, but let's talk about the haunted houses....I was quite upset by my experiences this year.....I was more than a little upset by waiting in line, only to get inside and not be scared at all. Employees sitting around having social conversations, I even heard two guys talking to each other and profanities were being exchanged- has CP changed their way of doing business?
The problem you run into with the haunted houses is that they are staffed by "ride prides" who are not employees. I've noticed in my experience that a lot of ride prides do work hard and take the job seriously, but there's always the ones that are going to slack off, disobey the rules, etc. Especially in a place like the haunted houses where there most likely isn't anyone in charge around to watch them.

I am so with you on this and I couldn't have said it better myself. However I did notice this year that they have Rick James' tomb stone on display up near the matterhorn/sky ride platform. I was sorry that I didn't have my digital camera with me last weekend to take and pose for some pics in front of it, seeings how my brother and I walked around all afternoon entertaining everyone by yelling out quotes from the Chapelle show skit. We had a blast!

What and where exactly is the Land of the Lost Rides? We went last weekend and will probably visit one last time on the last weekend that they're open. I don't recall seeing this. I'm not even sure I know what I'd even be looking for, but it sounds pretty cool. Thanks in advance for any info you might have to share.
