Eye concern

exactly, why do you think there is such a long break run at the bottom of the hill. your not going to stop dead, its going to be a gradual, slow stop.

hi everyone..love the site 1st time poster..actually the first drag racer with retina problems was/is Don Garlits...he races only tracks with long shut down areas so he can decelerate then pop the chute.....ala the long brake run...slow deceleration minimizes any eye strain and from the looks of that brake run ...we'll all be sloing down alot..unlike the wildcat that pretty much stops on a dime..anyway love the GTTP and cant wait to ride the new thrill coaster

Aren't those cheerleaders? I've never worn them during a 3d film, don't know where you are going to see these things.

You've never worn a cheerleader at a movie.... man, you havn't lived......

No i am aware of Ken Bernstein and top fuel cars however i am just sticking to the tradition that TF racing is not true drag racing. You must understand my stand point, i am Pro Stock myself. It takes more skill and precise timing to drive prostock. Anyone can punch a throttle when the lights go amber and deploy a parachute when they cross a white line. On the other hand, watching the tree and the tach while holding your throttle at your highest traction-friendly RPM, throwing into gear watching the road and keeping an eye on the tach before shifting 4 more times before crossing the line......THAT's Drag Racing!
4.47 seconds?? And to think I thought my 14.3 second Volkswagen was fun.....

yea, that 14.3 seconds is only 0-60 too!! not 0-120!
Billy Bob....I sure hope he's not talking 0-60 in 14.3. He's talking quarter mile time. With a 14.3 second quarter mile time, I'm guessing his 0-60 is slightly above 7 seconds. Kakarot, what VW do you have that runs a 14.3? I'm guessing a 1.8T with at least a chip, maybe an upgrade to a K04 turbo. Maybe a 24V VR6 with a few mods? Either way that is a fast VW. Mine runs high 15's.
2000 Gti 1.8turbo with split second booste controller, eurosport fuel mapping, neuspeed intake, neuspeed downpipe, neuspeed turbo inlet pipe, supersprint cat back exhaust, neuspeed adjustable cam gears, neuspeed 100ohm 9 mm SP wires, bosch platnum 4+ plugs, neuspeed short shift kit and enkei rpm2 17" wheels and thats it. No KO4 but I wish.

Real nice, kakarot. It's nice to see another VW guy on here. You ever go to VWVortex?
Been there once or twice.
