Extra hours or second job?

Hi there, I work as a housekeeper at the Hotel Breakers and so far I'm getting about 7:30 hours a day. This hours are not enough for me to repay my money and I was wondering is there some way to find a second job here in Sandusky? Or the only thing that I can do is get some extra hours at the park? And also do you know where the housekeepers can get extra hours? For example can we get them at TGI Friday's or something like that? Thank you.

In the past foods department has always looked for extra help. I cant say that they can give you shifts at TGI Fridays but I am sure they could hook you up with some extra hours. Just head into the foods office and talk with them.

I've heard recently that foods is definitely looking for more help, so I would try there first.

As for a second job in Sandusky, I believe Steak N' Shake is hiring, and I saw a "Now Hiring" sign at another nearby business.

The park has an extra hours hotline you can call. Not sure what the number is, but if you look/ask around I'm sure you can find it.

Something with a bunch of 6's and 3's. It's in your Employee Guidelines book, that much I remember. You have to hunt it down, though.

I make some extra hours selling Avon. At first I wasn't really interested in selling but i've had second jobs before and learned something about myself, like, I don't like reporting to someone else.

That's odd, my roommate works at Breakers as a housekeeper and she works 10-15 hour days all the time and was just told she's not gonna have a day off for 30 days.

That's really odd because we get shifts from 9 to 16:30 or double shifts from 9 to 12:00 and if we don't have a double and we're not finished before 16:30 we get written up so.. I don't know whats the case with your roommate :D anyway we gonna try to get some extra hours and if they don't give us we gonna try to find some job around the town, thanks for the replays. bye
