Extending Your Contract

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

OK! Classes for me do not begin until Tuesday, September 2nd, because my college is the coolest.

Here is my question: when my manager guy was asking me for my availability, I said I was good up till August 31. Now that I think about it, I might need more time to get everything set for moving back to school.

Say I talk to my manager and get my contract availability changed to Friday, August 29. . .

. . .if it comes to the 29th, and I want to stay another 3 days, is that possible, or am I stuck with what my contract says?

. . .also, is there anything really special about working Labor Day Weekend?

I was afraid that you'd be afraid if I told you that I was afraid of intimacy. If you don't have a problem with my problem maybe the problem's simply codependency!

It depends on where you work sometimes. Extending a contract isn't usually that hard. Shortening it once the season has started is usually alot harder.

OK great thanks. I just wanted to see what was up so I didn't call my manager and sound too uninformed.

This is from [an old episode of] SNL's Weekend Update with Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey:

Dodonpa, the world's fastest roller coaster, is set to open later this month in Japan. Unfortunately, only eight people in Japan are tall enough to ride it.
