Just lagoon maintenance. Nothing to see here. Move along fellas.

Sit tight fellas ;)

Could just be welding. It's not uncommon to block an area off with tarps so as to not hurt anyones eyes.

Fire blankets yes. Tarps no.

I’ve seen tarps used plenty of times when they are not close to the actual welding taking place. Just a barrier to not see what is going on.

Welding was my initial thought as well when I saw this, for the same reason pointed out. Just trying to prevent people from looking at the arc flash. But I agree, if that's the case, then I really wonder what is going on with this section of brand-new track that requires welding modification.

Based on everything I'm hearing I'm giving TT2 a 50% chance of being ready for opening day next year.

(Maybe I should be a YouTube vlogger)

I can't fathom that the welding would be to modify the track itself. Perhaps with new or modified trains they require some additional mechanics under or in proximity to the track such as a support for some electronics or sensors, or even removal of something that would be a clearance issue for parts of the new/modified trains.

This from a charter member of "lagoon maintenance".

I remember when LeBron James left the Cavs for Miami, some of my Cleveland friends used the phrase "Taking my talents to South Beach" as a euphemism for defecation.

I can see "lagoon maintenance" sprouting similar legs.

TT2 - The re-re-imagining

I have nothing to say. I just want to clarify, I am not responsible for the 2024 toilet paper shortage.
