And this is why this board has been good for a long time. An owner/moderator with a back bone willing to stand up to people who bring down the site. Kudos
I totally agree! Thanks Jeff, Walt, and any other moderators that work on this site for keeping the integrity of this community.
I don't post on here a ton, but I read a lot... and it is nice to not have to wade through a bunch of rubbish to get to on-point content (no pun intended).
Back to the original topic....We(2 ppl in our group) used them all 6/21. It really made for a great day, as we don't buy FastLane. Early entry guaranteed early AM rides for MF and Maverick. The exit passes were used for the same attractions, later on,due to the short wait times on others. But to see the faces of the people waiting, often for hour(s), to ride next, and a partially loaded train arrives, even I'd be a little ticked off, if I was them. It often splits up family/ groups.I think the major attractions need postings in que, stating the possibility, of 'pre-boarding',explaining the ride policy for why it may occur. Examples include boarding passes for physical reasons, exit passes or FastLane. Most general public don't read up on all policies prior to visiting for their first time. Just a thought.
Keep passing the fun along!
The 'how many' doesn't matter, whether it be 2 or 200. I received them as a response to a general complaint I had. I didn't ask for them, or expect them. I assume the have a PR policy in place to handle complaints/ suggestions received from their online page. That's the outlet I used. I benefited and enjoyed it, other than some discouraged faces from other visitors. Not trying to avoid answering, or sound rude, it just really doesn't matter. It wasn't anything compared to a FastLane, which I've never enjoyed yet.
Keep passing the fun along!
^^It can be frustrating, but I think it doesn't happen enough to justify making a statement to guests about it. Could they? Oh, for sure. Do they NEED to? Not really.
Also, HUZZAH! The troll hath been banished!
-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut
^^Rather a posted sign, like all the others we see, in the que lines, not a 'statement'
Keep passing the fun along!

Fail on both.
The question is kinda valid. If you had two, most won't complain, or those that do might be educated by the ride host or other people in line. If you had a dozen, however, I could see that causing a bit of rumbling in the "faces of the people waiting."
Of course, then there's always those people who mistakenly think an exit pass further entitles them to a front seat.
They don't entitle you to the front seat as noted on them. They say that seating preferences are not guaranteed. On Dragster, they let us use one from a Tweetup anywhere *but* the front or the back rows.
I have an idea.
They could post a statement on the exit passes saying "if you can't handle a few dirty looks from clueless people waiting in line, please do not use".
Or on the parent swap passes we use (and get said dirty looks).
Or to the Fast Lane wristbands.
Let it go and enjoy your ride. Cedar Point wants you to.
Promoter of fog.
^^ I know this, which is why I wrote what I wrote. My point is that the exit pass using people generally don't know this (because people don't read). The only real factor in play is if the ride op cares or not to enforce it.
Right, all I'm saying is that it's documented right there. People can complain all they want but it's just like a speed limit. A majority of people ignoring something makes it no less valid.
