Evil at work

Well my fellow CP lovers, my upcoming trip to CP is going to be sooo well earned. Things are not really going my way and there seems to be a evil plot to keep me from going. But, thats not gonna happen. You see, it is going to take several thousand dollars to take this trip. After all, gas is not cheap and it is a long way from far west Texas to there. Add in hotel room and food and all the other crap i have to have, and well, it's alot of cash.

So far in the last few weeks we have put the car in the shop,( a lovely brand new Equinox), ( of couse there is a warranty), bought a new washing machine, and this weekend i broke the garage door! I did not see my niece's baby doll stroller and tried to shut the dang thing. So that needs to be fixed. Can't really leave town with the thing open now can i?

Anyway, just venting a little bit and wondered if anyone has any funny stories about trying to get to The Greatest Place on Earth.

Come on.....make me laugh.

^^In my trip-taking experience, when the "moons are not aligning" in advance of a trip such as with your situation, I would say your best bet is to NOT go!!

It used to be that such trips would turn out bad for me....but if everything clicks into place then I'd say you're good!

But at the rate you're going....expect bad weather (and ya know CP doesn't run a lot in the rain!?) and 4 hour queues!! I'm kidding, actually, but only go if it really makes sense and not causing heartache.

Very often I've had pre-trip problems, usually it friends cancelling 3 hours before we're supposed to leave but they always work out for the best and end with a fun trip. Take the trip. A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

We didn't have any problems getting to The Greatest Place on Earth, we just got up early and boarded an 8am flight. Magical Express took us right from the airport to our hotel and even delivered our luggage for us. The problem was on our way back as I had our ID's and room keys in a lanyard pouch thing around my neck. Needless to say, it all came out on Space Mountain. The worst part was that I couldn't even buy a drink at dinner that night.

But we had no problems getting to TGPoE.

Goodbye MrScott

John
