Ever Meet Kinzel?

Just curious if anyone here has ever meant Dick Kinzel. If so, is he a nice guy?

Kinzel is around a lot. You will mostly see him near the front of the park though, near his office. If you ever walk by his office, he is always sitting in there reading the paper it seems like. I met him once on Maverick platform and he seemed nice, but I dont know.

I ran into him (almost) back by maverick while he was in his cell phone. I tried to wave to him, but he looked right at me and I don't know if he saw me or not. But I did meet and talk to John hildabrandt in the midway by johnny rockets once.

In my 62 visits the past two seasons on a normal day, I only saw Mr. Kinzel once walking past the Frontier Trail bridge back towards Maverick. He was walking quickly with his head down with a purpose so I didn't bother saying anything to him. On the Discovery Channel program about a day in the life of CP, they show him walking around the park on a Saturday. They said he did that every Saturday, but I've never seen him.

I saw Mr. Hildebrandt numerous times including when he was helping park cars during a busy day directing traffic between the tollbooths and the main lot. He watched the HalloWeekends Parade often. I saw Tony Clark on closing day talking to some ACE members on the Midway by Magnum :)

Yes, Kinzel actually gave me a paid day off. I was walking down the midway in my uniform,, off duty, and Kinzel saw me picking up trash. He told me he thought it was great that I was doing my part to keep the park clean. He then took my badge number, and spotted me 8 extra hours on my paycheck.

I have seen him many times. This yr I saw him by the Exit area of the Maverick, and talked to him for a long time. My friend's dad worked at CP in an Office by Kinzel's Office. Kinzel told me about Jack, and when he worked there. He might of taking me to his office, but my mom told me she didn't want me too, because he could be to busy. Darn it I told her

Ive never talked to him but Ive seen him around. Opening day last year he was just strolling through Frontierland, Maverick's Opening I saw him, and I saw him meeting with a bunch of execs at TGI Fridays that were (in retrospect) meeting to finalize the TTD announcement a few years back.

I must be wierd because I saw him on all 4 of my visits to the park this season.

I seen him once by the Snake River Falls bridge
He is nice and that is about all.

I told him TTD was a good investment I think and he replied with "yeah when it's working"

Let's remember that when Dick talked of walking the midways regularly at Cedar Point that was before they had the Paramount Parks. His time is now spent all around the country so, it stands to reason, you may not see him as frequently in Sandusky.

I meet Tony and Tylar at the rotary club pizza chalange at Lyman Harbor last year. They introduced me to John Hildabrant.

I saw Tyler twice. Tony contless times. Kinzel always in his office, and saw John Hildabrant and Kinzel on opening day walking toward Maverick (pissed off, I'm guessing).

I saw Kinzel twice. Once when I was like 9 and the other time was last year he was in the opperating booth at TTD.

I like pancakes.

I like turtles...

But seriously I only ever see him in his office, unless there is a special occasion at some ride, like Red Cross Riders.

We had Qdoba chicken queso burrito today ourselves.....

I heard Lyman Harbor has some good dance music at times..kind of a nice club for the young singles?

My new ritual for Cedar Point will be Sandusky by day...Cleveland / Detroit by night unless I can find some nice clubs in Sandusky.
