I got to see tr,tr at pki while it was in operation. it amazed me how big it and the motors were. I can only imagine what TTD would look like.

Whatever dude. You don't think we've seen dozens of people do exactly what you just did over the years? Good riddance!

Wow, way for the admins to lead by example....
A bit childish perhaps.
Thanks "Jeff", I guess I'll share my thoughts and happenings on a different forum.
Please do take your thoughts and happenings to a different forum, because I don't want to read your trash.
I'm not an admin so I have no example to set when I tell you to shove your "nah nah nah nah nah, I saw somrthing you didn't" posts straight up your ass.

There really isn't a need to be starting a whole different disscussion. Can't we just stay on one damn topic for once without going into some kind of arguement.
I swear, we could start talking about one thing and, somehow (because of one person), it leads into something completely different.
Anyway(back on topic)
CP/PKIdude, what exactly is tr,tr at PKI?

Oh! this one? http://www.rcdb.com/ig2516.htm?picture=10 at Paramount Canada's Wonderland....(not PKI).
But where does it use motors?

TTD 120mph,
It's a completely different ride from what is pictured. Tomb Raider at PKI is a flat ride, a giant top spin, and if I'm not mistaking, the ONLY giant top spin. I can't tell you where I got that information from, but I do know that, and you don't. Sorry about your luck. ;)
It's really too bad that I know all about this and that I've ridden Tomb Raider at both King's Island and Canada's Wonderland. It really sucks being so exclusive, because this would really impress all them coaster chicks out there ;).
~Rob "Fine, fine, I'll stop my sarcasm..." Willi
There is a TR:TR at PKI, but it is a Huss TopSpin, not a coaster. It uses some pretty good size motors (similar to maXairs I would guess) to spin the platform and pendulum. That's probably what he was referring to.

What do you want, a gold star. :)
I just thought CP/PKIdude was talking about the coaster not the flat ride.

It makes me wonder why doesn't the Discovery channel launch another episode of The Worlds Largest Amusement Park? Only they would have the 2 next to it. It would be the second sequal with Rides like Wicked Twister, Top Thrill Dragster, and MaXair, maybe what it takes to run the Games. Maybe they could even show how they inspect Power Tower and how that thing runs. I know that's on another page, but it would be cool to see that. You would also be able to see engine rooms to say like Wicked Twister and Top Thrill Dragster.
