End of Season Housing

When I worked at CP a few years back, my contracts always ended the third week in August, plus, the new dorms weren't built anyway. I know that housing is free after Labor Day, but is it just Commons Apartments? Or are the new (off-point) dorms used as well?

All of commons is open until the end of the season, cedars and gold dorms close a few weeks before park closing. If you work after the park closes, like I did last year, then ya live in Bayside Apts. They close Commons the day after the park closes.

Anyone know about when the Red and Blue dorms close, if they're open until the end of the season (seeing as they're next to Commons)?

I'm guessing that your talking about the buildings across the street with the small fenced in parking lot. That would be Bayside.

No, not Bayside -- I know Bayside and Commons, but I'm talking about the off-point dorms (they were called Red and Blue while they were being constructed -- what are they called now???). I haven't been an employee since they opened, and I'm curious about if they are open through Ocotober or not.

Golds and Cedars are open until Labor Day.  Then after that everyone will be in either Commons or Bayside.  I'm not too sure what these Red and Blue dorms are because the only off-point housing is Bayside and Commons.  Maybe they were called something different when they were being constructed...  :)

Nah, the dorms that are near Commons that have the A/C... charging $31.20/week. Wow, this is really bugging me! :) They are off-point dorms, I know I wasn't hallucinating...

They're just called the Commons dorms.  1300, 1400 and 1500 buildings.

Ah ha! I was wondering about that. Thanks Natalie, that's exactly what I was looking for. When they were being constructed we were referring to them as "Red" and "Blue" dorms. Now I'm figuring it out!
