End of Contract Bonus

Can anyone please explain on this actually works? My daughter's check stub says an accrued amount that is exactly half of the hours she has worked but we thought the bonus was 50 cents for each hour worked not half the hours?

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe they just pay the full working rate for half of the hours. That would equate to $0.50 for each hour worked. Though I've never worked there so this is just speculation.

The bonus is exactly half of the number of hours worked because it is $0.50/hour. If your daughter worked 1000 hours, her bonus before taxes will be $500.
(Math: 1000 hours * $0.50/ hour = $500)

After taxed, a $500 bonus would be in the ballpark of a $375 check depending on several factors.

Which clearly isn't worth it IMO. The $1/hour bonus is way better.

The "Bonus accrued to date" on your pay stub is your bonus in dollars, not the number of hours you've worked.

^^ $375 seems like a hefty chunk of change for a college student.

I'm sure there's plenty of college kids that could drink that in a weekend.

Is CF going back to the 80's? We were paid a generous three dollars an hour with a twenty five cents an hour bonus.....

Since when did Cedar Fair ever come out of the 80s except for some of its rides and attractions?

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
