employment question

I currently work for the carowinds park (2nd year) and just got promoted to a rides supervisor I was thinking about trying to work for cedar point next season. If I changed parks next season would I keep my position as a supervisor or would I have to work my way up again. Weve had people from other parks work for us and kept their pervious position.

I'm really not sure how transfers work, and I also know that some other parks supervision works differently. Are you a supervisor of one ride, or an entire area? Getting promoted to supervision in rides at Cedar Point is kind of hard to do.

I'm pretty sure Carowinds definition of supervisor is relative to King's Island's definition of supervisor (Team Leader).

As far as that goes, Cedar Point operates a little bit differently than other parks within Cedar Fair. I'm going to say you probably would be hired in as a red tag, and if the opportunity arises you could possibly apply for leadership during the season.

If you are actually talking about area supervisors, you'll probably be waiting for a few years...

At carowinds our levels goes associate then supervisor then area supervisor our ride supervisor are in charge of one ride so im guessing they are equal to a team leader at cedar point. I was just trying to find as we had a few who came from cp as team leader and where given supervisor positions and we had 1 area come and was give an area position at our park
