You are allowed to ride the rides whenever you're not working. However, I find with most employees, including myself, that when I'm off the clock I want to be as far away from the park as possible doing such things as sleeping, laundry, etc. As fun as working at the park is, you WILL get sick of it at some point.

^^No pun intended, eh?!
But is it true that a lot of hooking-up goes on and it's pretty much a guarantee for a guy who came to work there?!
Well with 4,000 people...probably 70% of them under the age of 30 pulled away from high school, college, and the such...you can only assume people will hook up.
Doing things that their parents wouldn't quite approve of and carrying out parties and the such.
I see CP "couples" or boys and girls going out to Steak and Shake after the park closes all the time.
I never got sick of the place, I rode whatever whenever, just as long as you're with someone.. It gets boring by yourself. With my hours last summer.. half the time I was out early enough and just walked around the park, rode some rides, talked to people, went to the beach. Didn't have anything else to do, everyone else was working anyway.

Ok, so we all have to have to have jobs anyway, right? Here would be a great life...wake up...go to work at CP...get off work...RIDE COASTERS!!! I am sorry, but I don't think I would get tired of that. While the atmosphere of CP may turn to work atmosphere, I still would not get tired of riding Magnum, Raptor, Millie, Gemini, Etc. day after day after day. Besides, it would only be for a summer.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
I rode a lot on my time off.
And double or triple bag it if you're going to 'hook up'. You'll end up with every STD known to man if you don't.
My son was born Feb. 23, 2003. I worked at the park in '02. You do the math....lol.

Awwww.....that sounds cute!! So what's the chances that even the hotter girls that work at CP are hooking-up too?? I think the Girls Gone Wild people are missing a great spot with CP!!
Hooking up is easy. I'm a pretty ugly dude and I had 4 different hook ups last summer and even got a standing ovation in the employee cafeteria for one (because I didn't bag it unfortunately). In the end the big thing I miss about working at CP is the social atmosphere. I got along with 99% of the people I worked with and mostly everyone was really cool.
Needless to say spending my summer in Columbus working at Macy's with co-workers in their 50's and 60's is a bit different than CP.
The day Kingda Ka closes will be the greatest day in the history of Existence
Ohh and to answer your question.....you get to ride all you want when you aren't punched in.

The hotter girls are hooking up. All 6 of them.
^^ Hahaha, damn you. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Yeah Girls Gone Wild would get here, take one look around, and laugh themselves silly as they walked back out.
And Jesz, believe me, going to the park does get old when you work there every flippin' day.
^ I understand what you are saying. I love zoos, and decided to volunteer for the Detroit Zoo. At first it was great being there all of the time. But then it became a work like atmosphere, and the fun was just taken right out of it.
The difference between the zoo and CP though, is at the zoo I would just be walking around looking at animals. At CP I would be riding the coasters. So sure, walking from coaster to coaster might be crappy, because it would feel like you are at work. But once I'm on the coaster, I don't think the thought of work would be in my mind. :)

^I would have to agree with you, the reason I rode some of the rides was to get my mind off work, and it usually put me in a better mood too. If you a really love CP, you will hardly ever get sick of it (I never did), even after working there. Besides, like you said even if it's just for a summer, it's not that bad. I wished I would have went back this summer, at least I know I would have came back with maybe $4,000, compared to this summer where I'm working on campus and losing all my money on various expenses.
