Employee Ride Nights

Hey guys...don't know if there's a topic about this already...I had a few questions...

Anyone know when the first is? Are ride nights on one ride only? And if so, what are the average wait times? Just curious...thanks!

Not sure when the first one is, but it is only on one ride per ride night and the average wait time is pretty much walk on, maybe a 5 minute wait. There are two "parties" during the season (Calypso bash and Big bash) when there are several rides open.

Is there a pre-set schedule for ride night? Or do they dtermine them during the season. Also, could anyone give me the lowdown on calypso and big bash? Thanks!

I don't know about early in the season, but mid May and on, you can ride as much as you can until they close the ride down due to not many people riding.

Calypso Bash is a big party where the blue streak, Calypso, and turnpike cars are. The ESD department has a DJ come in and there are free hot dogs. Plus you can ride the Blue Streak and Calypso all night!
Big bash is an even BIGGER party where frontier town is one big party. Any kind of food you want they probably have, Mean streak's open and a few other rides in the back! Games, contests, free food, music, free food, LOTS AND LOTS OF people, am I missing something here?

I processed in today and I saw that on the 9th of May, Employees can have free hot dogs drinks, along with WT and Giant Wheel open. This starts at 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The following Monday is MF Ride Night, after that Magnum, then Raptor. I think I may be missing one for the month of May though.

Actually there is a Wicked Twister Welcome Party Thursday May 9th 6-8 p.m. WT plus Giant Wheel is open plus there is free pop and hot dogs.

Dang! Im missing MF ride night...do they repeat ride nights for some of the bigger rides (eg. MF, Maggie, WT?)

I do believ that Cedar Point does do repeat ride nights for it's bigger rides.

CP usually has 2 ride nights for each big ride during the summer.

...The 'Wicked Twister Welcome Party' that we had tonight was definately something you didn't want to miss...and that's all I'm saying :-)

Yeah I scarfed down about 3 hot dogs before tackeling WT for the second time that night.
