employee housing

I'm considering working at cedar point but I can't find how much employee housing costs. I wasen't going to work there this year but now I may because I don't have my apartment anymore so I wouldn't be paying for an apartment and a dorm. Any help would be great. Thanks

It's 16 dollars to live on point in Cedars or gold. 24 to live off point in the Commons or Bayside appartments and it's 32 dollars to live in the Commons dorms. It's all taken out weekly from your paycheck so yeah. Hope that helps you out.

The only part that page doesn't mention is that the layout is drawn actual size....

That's cute Brandon...

I'm glad I don't have to deal with housing again. Of course, after last year.. it couldn't have gotten any worse.. hehehe

The rooms aren't *that* bad. Yes, some, especially in the dormitories, are smaller, but the main thing to remember about CP housing is that the majority of it is older in style. In my opinion, what matters most about whether a room is a decent place to live in or not is whether you and your roommates are respectful of each other and if you can keep the place clean. A room gets really cramped and really unliveable the more quickly it gets filled with trash (human and otherwise).

I couldn't have said it better myself Lee. The housing really IS NOT that bad. Though the few times I saw Cedars and Gold I pretty much decided that I never want to live there. But off point housing isn't that bad as long as you have clear thinking roommates. The dorms are small, yes, but the benefit of them is the air conditioning and fewer people you have to learn to trust with your stuff. As for the appartments, commons especially, the benefits of living their your first year are innumerable. You'll meet more people (up to 14 in commons appartments)... and you're within walking distance of Louies. So if you can manage to get along with your roommates and keep the appartment clean... they aren't very bad. The difficult part is keeping it clean after working 9 in the morning till 11 at night five days straight and wanting to just come back to the appartment and relax. Cleaning isn't something that is always on one's mind... but it makes the living arrangements alot less appealing if you don't clean.

Honesty, if your worried about someone stealing your stuff and your not in one of the dorms with lockers, you can just go to wal-mart or something and get a food locker and a padlock for like 30 bucks.
