Employee Admission

Are you able to use your employee id to get into other parks as well? I'm working at Cedar Point this summer, but I'm starting grad school in Cincinnati in the fall, and I'd like to go to Kings Island a few times. Thanks for your help!

Cedar Point employees can get into any Cedar Fair parks for free with your ID!

You also get free parking!!! Different parks have different perks as well. At Canada's Wonderland, you get 25% off food and merchandise. Not all parks have that though.

I take it once your employment ends, you cannot use your ID for the rest of the season. Such as if I work from May till mid August, I can't use my ID past mid August to get into the Cedar Fair parks, correct?

you only get it while you are an employee. Once you process out you no longer get free admission.

Once your employment ends, you must give back your ID to your department. Your ID gets you into all the Cedar Fair Parks only during the time you are employed. Also, I realize that there are some employees who "lose" their IDs just to keep it. If you try to go to a Cedar Fair Park with a "lost" ID, the admission screen will be red, and you will not be permitted to enter the park. It's also grounds for trespassing as well. (I'm not saying that you will do that, but it's just a heads up). Basically, it's a free admission just for the time you are a Cedar Point employee.

Also, technically your ID is property of Cedar Point. That's why if you "lose" it you have to pay to get another. I would imagine if you try to sneak into a park with your "lost" ID that it would be immediately confiscated, not to mention you're most likely black listed at that point.

Question as to why you need to know? Kinda seems creeper-ish :P
