Eden Musee and Cut throat cove.

Didnt see a topic yet, so what did you guys think about these haunted attractions? Personally Eden Musee had interesting props but wasn't really scary. And cut throat is about the same as last year. What did you guys think?

^What were some of the costumes for Eden Musee? And how well did the fog stay in Cut Throat Cove, since I've seen people mention how they thought it would get blown away.

They used random costumes throughout the house some blended in with the other wax figures better than others, where some stuck out like a sore thumb. As for the Cut Throat Cove in some places the fog settled right in one place, but most of it was gone within a few seconds. Carnevil did hold the fog pretty good for the conditions.

I thought Musee and Erie Estate are the best themed haunts. I loved cut throat cove because it went under Maverick. It looked like there were a lot of props from the old Egyptian haunt that used to be in DT.

Come back to Halloweekends in October, and then evaluate it.

It was day one. Believe it or not, it take a few weeks for the haunts, and the characters inside them, to be in their "prime", so to speak.

^ i agree 100% with that statement! We went first weekend last year and it was "meh". Totally different experience 3 weeks later when we went back!

The characters were pretty good for the first weekend. Cut throat cove was really good, loved the ship at the entrance. They did add some new pirate props, and I recognized some from terror island.

Eden musee was good, but a little short. loved the guillotine. :) It still does not hold up to happy jacks, however :)

Pirate ship!!!! where did cut throat cove enter and exit?

The entrance was just a little bit past the Maverick entrance and it ended right by the cornstalkers exit. It kinda sucked that the entrance was so far away because i had to walk right back over there to go to Eden Musee.

RIP DEMON DROP I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

Wow thats really long! sweet, I'm so excited to go through!

Does Eden Musee use the same queue as Mean Streak, or is there a new separate queue?

A +1 will be awarded if you can tell me where CP guests have seen that ship before. :)

Just for her, or for all of is who ever rode the Pirate Ride?

The Black Raven sails again!! When I first saw it, I thought it looked familiar, then I verified it: The pirate ship back-end at the Cut Throat Cove entrance was supposedly built from the original blueprints and is a full-scale replica of the original Black Raven!

Pity they didn't do the right colors! Why does all the Halloween stuff have to be grey?

I was there Friday and Saturday and I must say that the screamsters were in better form than last years opening weekend. To me it was very noticable. I know they will get even better as time passes.

I found the first part of Eden Musee to be very boring. Things did improve as you went along, but overall I wasn't too impressed. It wasn't so much the screamsters fault. I just don't think the set up is that good. I'll give it another try.

I was impressed with how they squeezed in Cut Throat Cove under Maverick. I was also surprised how long it path was. The pirates were good and lively and the setup was very good.

I would suggest people go to Eden before Cut Throat so as not to have to walk all the way back.

The Overlord now does his speech from the side of the Luminosity stage with all of the screamsters on the stage. The presentation is similar to the past except for the location.

Fear Faire has been reworked. They have tightened up the paths somewhat. I liked the way it was better last year. I think that was the best configuration they've had. I will say that the screamsters where excellent in FF Saturday. I'll say the same for Carn Evil too.

Great news. I wasn't very fond of how spacious fear faire was, glad to see it was compressed. (though that really doesn't matter much when the fog holds well, but most of the time when I go through fear faire it doesn't, sadly).

I agree, Eden Musee was a bit disappointing. Has potential, but I think it needs a bit more work. As well as better screamsters inside (or once they get into the flow of things this year).

Cut Throat Cove I thought was better in the old location, besides the difficulty accessing it for most people (knowing where it was). Better location for that, but Maverick overhead is a bit more distracting.
