There is less traffic on 4, but it is a two lane road all the way. Once you get into Sandusky there are more corners to take. If you're in RV's taking 250 would probably be easier for you. It's a 4 land road all the way with no turns until you get to the Cedar Point ramp.

Taking 4 is going to save about 10 miles and have less traffic. But yes, 250 would probably be easier to get down if you're concerned about making turns.
4 North to 2 West to 250 North could also work if you're looking to save a little time but not have to go through downtown Sandusky.
