East of Chicago Pizza

Does anyone know if the East of Chicago Pizza company..near the dorms at Cedar Point. Is it open during the fall or winter.

I remember last fall we where going to Halloweekends and it was close

There's your answer. It normally does close during the winter.
Yeah i know i kinda answer my question but then someone told me there going to be keeping it open year round
That is in my opinion the best Pizza ever. If you don't want to eat at the park I recommend going to East Of Chicago. And If you live near one at home, take one out and try it.
The UNO Chicago Grill also has good pizza, I think this place is a spin-off of them

Shawn Meyer ....I agree with you it is the best pizza thats why i'm trying to figure out if its going to be open all year.....Thats the one that closest to us
East of Chicago does have great pizza. So much to choose from!
Has anyone tried the peanut and jelly one? I never tried it and wanted to know what people think
I either go there or Ruby Tuesdays in the mall by the Chinese Buffet.
I went yesterday, and their sign said that it was the last weekend that it was going to be open.

Sadly, East of Chicago is closed for the season now. I wanted to make it there one last time this weekend, but it didn't end up happening.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

The reason they close for the winter is that their pizza isn't good enough to sell to the locals during the winter.

If you want excellent pizza in Sandusky, no matter what time of year, go to Chet and Matt's on Strub Rd near the Mall. That's primo stuff!!!

I'll vouch for Chet and Matt's as being the best pizza I've ever tasted. I've made trips to Sandusky from Lorain just for pizza before.

I live just down the street from the owner/CEO of East of Chicago. Scott Granaman. I babysat his kid a couple times

I have yet to try Chet and Matt's. Does it compare to any other pizza chain? I usually don't go for chain pizza, I like Amie's and Gino's here in T-Town! :)

Hey, I live in T-Town also! But when I want Really AWESOME pizza, we go to Myels Pizza in Bowling Green. You do not ever ask for extra anything! If you are a fan of most all toppings, you call ahead about 45 min. and order the food lovers pizza. The large takes all 45 min. to cook, and weighs about ten pounds.

Ahhhhh C.P. My Happy Place!

Chet and Matt's is the BEST! We at the Breaker's Exp. front desk got it all the time! We were huge fans... maybe too big of fans! haha

I've been told by numerous locals that Cameo's is the best pizza in town, hands down. I've never had it myself though so I can't comment.

Pizza from Cameo and pizza from Chet & Matt's are just about the same (though some would argue one is better than the other). Same family, if I'm not mistaken.

There's a Cameo in Avon now, for those in Cleveland who don't want to drive all the way to Sandusky.
