Can someone please tell me, from your own experience, how much money at the end of the month, can I save? Going to work as ride host for three months. I am making some plans and I don't know if I can buy stuff i want and plus travel when i finish with work.
Hard to say without knowing how much you'll be spending at the mall , movies, food, and of course, Louies!
Cedar Point Lifer
Employee 2006-2009
for example, nothing special to spend, and of course also not only to save money..somewhere in middle ??
it all depends on your financial responsibility, honestly.
There were Summers where I would go days with just eating a butter sandwich or candy because I went to the mall on Pay Day & spent my entire paycheck on nonsense.
Or there was a Summer when I was intent on saving everything for a vacation, and I grossed a HELL of a lot of savings by August...and I still worked through November.
If you can find the right balance of having affordable fun and being responsible with your finances, then everything will work out O.K.
Always research and look for cheaper alternatives to local events, FREE events, student discounts, Cedar Point employee discounts, etc. and take advantage!!
yeah I agree..you need to find that fine balance of taking part in 'affordable fun' (read..NOT drinking @ Louie's every night) and being financially responsible.
I usually try to graph it out in advance sometimes so I know what I can live on.
