Drug test

They make drug test for everybody? or only for some departments?

so is every employee required to take a drug test or is it at random?

When you process in everyone will be required to take a drug test. Througout the year there will be random drug testing as well as ones that they do due to "cause". Like if someone thinks you may be on drugs they may test you. Most of the time it's just random though.

Not every department requires a drug test upon processing in the only time i had one when i processed in was my first year when i was in rides

I'm pretty sure it's just rides that does drug tests when you process in. All other departments just do "random" drug tests through out the year.

Rides is the only department that has mandatory drug screenings when processing in. All other departments are at random.

i think that lifeguards would get drug tested, due to the fact they have peoples lives in their hands? just wondering.

No not all departments, i work in accommodations and i never had to take a drug test.

Everyone drug tests when they process in. Then random drug tests are given to all departments throughout the entire season. Some people never get pulled, others get pulled multiple times.

If your in a department where you might operate any kind of machinery then plan on a drug test. This includes the CP vehicles.

It's specific to departments. Not only rides host have to take the drug test. First anyone in safety must take a drug test when processing in. These departments are the police department, fire department and medical. Then rides must take it, and then I'm pretty certain life guards do to. If your gonna be a life guard I'm guessing you got hired by Ryan Burt he will be able to tell you for a fact or just ask HR. The random is specifically that random done by a computer. Yes you can be told at anytime to come down and take a test strictly on suspicion. I.E. your roommates got caught smoking pot. Also anyone that is involved in a accident while operating a cp vehicle must take a drug test right after the accident.

Mandatory no but they can always be subjected to it. HR changes there minds almost on a weekly basis on somethings. But simply the rule is don't do drugs and really dont do them if your working for Cedar Point. Because their is no if ands or butts, unless you can show a prescription for some kind of medicine that would pop the test, even then you will be out of work for a few days till a second test can be done, and no a marijuana prescription doesn't get you out of it.
