They(SFGA)should play it over there audio just like they do for Dragster. I think it would fit prefectly. :)

TTD 120MPH I was just comparing the two rides & where they stood after November 10th, & wondering how GADV will get a bigger Strata- open by opening day which is in early May...

Well, I feel that the opening day for KDK is going to be delayed. Knowing how bad the weather has affected its construction up till now, I'd have to say that winter isn't going to be very nice to them. I'm going to stick with that fact untill next year and see rather or not I'm right. They're going to have to really hustle on this thing if they want to make opening day. AND has any construction been started on the Golden Kingdom yet?
KDK + Golden Kingdom = May 2005........I doubt it.

I am from New Jersey and I'm sorry that we beat you but get over it! I love Cedar Point but can't you just be happy for us that we dont have to drive all the way to u guys to ride a great ride now?!

I just don't like the fact that it looks like Dragster. They could of came up with a better idea. But you have to admit...the themeing sucks.

OK, for real, all of you guys have gone a little over board on how much you think KK "sucks".

Facts:

1Q.yeah, ok, it basically is TTD with a airtime hill.

1A. atleast it has an airtime hill

2Q.why couldn't KK have a better layout than it has?

2A.well, first, if you say the layout is bad than you're basically saying TTD's layout is bad. And second, the reason it doesn't have more is b/c SF, or CF, or anybody right now, won't spend 40+ million dollars on a coaster that has a 200 ft + overbank and a couple airtime hills after that.

3A. First, would you like it to be Orange and Black? and second, remember how weird some of you thought TTD looked with the big tires and all the race track themeing?

Let's try to critisize KK & SF once this coaster is open, ok.

*note that i have been on TTD, it is the best RIDE i've ever been on but not the best coaster (mf) and that unlike alot of you i have an open opinion.*

I admit that KK would be better "IF" it didnt have the shoulder harness. In my mind, that makes all the difference. And im sure KK will be a great ride, but i still respect TTD more.

I'm from New York, and will certainly be at Gadv to ride...but, like every other time I've been there, I'm positive I'll leave disgusted by the litter in the park, the line cutters who get away with it, the excessive down time on rides, the long wait r/t running only one train, the unprofessional ride ops...

When I see it, i'll believe it, KK has the potential to be a great ride, but it is, with a few changes, a TTD clone...For me, IMHO, TTD will always rule...after all, it's there already, and in a class act park I'll happily drive 10 hours to get to over the much closer Gadv, which always ends up just making me feel ripped off...

I have been on Dragster and it is the best ride ever. I am just very excited that now I have a "dragster" in my home park. I could care less what the theme is, all that matters is that launch. I have also ridden Storm RUnner, and the OTSR don't make much difference.

I myself am also from NJ, and Six Flags Great Adventure is my home park as well. I rode TTD also (it was amazing), I really don't see how Kingda Ka will suck, it's the same design as you all said and a little taller and a little faster, the only difference is the OTSR's. I know that when the record will be taken from KK and goes to some other park I will be dissapointed, but I realize that I will say damn but I know instead of saying it sucks I will make a trip over to that park. So instead of all this madness, come join us in NJ ride this beast and enjoy it beacause just like TTD it won't be a record holder forever. :D

You keep saying how we only beat you by 30 feet and 8 mph. This is true, but you only beat Superman The Escape by 5 mph, so I wouldn't be talking.

so did CoasterCrazy230, suck it up.... your record was bound to be broken and ours will be broken too... how can you say KK sucks when THE RIDE ISNT EVEN BUILT YET, AND ITS TALLER AND FASTER THAN YOURS!!!! so stop complaining about how were copycats and whatever.. the design of TTD is very efficient to make a tall coaster, so thats what we did...

Big difference between Dragster and Kingda Ka compared to Superman at Magic Mountain. Both of the new rides go over the top, Superman hardly makes it 3/4 of the way up. You can build a spike 1000 ft. high, but if the cars only make it up about 275' then who cares?

That couldent of been more stupid. Superman takes like 7 seconds to get to full speed and goes up a hill not even full way up and BTW TTD wasn't a clone from superman.

Actually we beat Superman The Escape by 20 mph. Superman only goes up til about 325 feet anyways so we beat its drop record by 75ft. Now that is what I call "SMASHING THE RECORDS"

no it makes complete sense.... you are complaining because SF GAdv is only taking the record by 30 ft when you took it from SFMM by only 5! Have you ever even been to SFMM? Superman is a crazy ride and goes much higher then you claim. And KK is not a clone of TTD...

Ok look No 1 CP didn't copy SFMM's superman. The airtime hill wo ho that took alot of thought. In my eyes a clone of TTD. Also superman is a tower and nothing more also TTD goes faster at a faster rate by alot. TTD trains go all the way up and goes over the tophat and goes back down.
