I have to say, Dragsters are nothing but cool, but due to the already corny name (Bore-Ring) and theming such as "grandstands" (yipee) and "Christmas tree lights" (yawn) and a "winners circle" (please), i think Cedar Point is trying to evolve into a type of TACKY theming Disney park.

You're also lacking sensitivity and cultural consciousness with your offensive remarks. Please, the term "gay" does not mean "stupid."

And just for the record, I think the idea of the Winners' Circle is a really GREAT idea. Not everyone is going to be brave enough to actually ride the ride, but they can still join in on the fun by getting their picture taken in the dragster. And of course, how many of you wouldn't have loved a photo op like that when you were little? I have a feeling that's going to be really cool for the kids as well as for everyone else. (I'm one of the lucky ones who has seen the photo op dragster in person as well -- just so you know, it is very, very cool; you'll have to wait 'til this summer to check it out for yourself).

The grandstands are going to be a good place for family and friends to watch the ride from; when my parents visit this summer, my mom will not ride the coasters, but she can sit in the grandstands and take pictures of my dad and I on the ride...she won't have to stand around and wait for us.

The entire theming of the ride, in my opinion, is going to make that ride even more entertaining and fun than it already looks to be. It's an illustration of the park's creativity and inclusion of everyone -- even nonriders -- in the experience.

HAHAHA, Steelrider...you crack me up. You're the biggest SFMM fanboy i have ever seen. You are so blinded by your precious SFMM that you make up BS about CP. This theming has been nothing short of amazing so far. And there is alot more to come from where i read in the diary updates. Anyway, Nobody really cares about what you say...The facts are there...CP is #1. So far your opinions have been nothing but nonsense. Personally, Your comments are beggining to annoy me. And, You dont think slapping on a rollercoaster onto a parking lot with no theming at all and barely any landscaping at all isnt tacky?. PLEASE

Just to add, Those Trains are probably the best themed, best looking trains probably on any rollercoaster i have seen.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference!

I am looking forward to seeing the theme more so than the actual ride itself. If this theme is done correctly, as it appears to be, then it will mark a great advancement in Cedar Point with a step towards not only building awesome rides, but also incorporating an awesome theme as well.

people, cedar point has been an AMUSEMENT PARK for as long as i can remember. Disater Transport was a crappy attempt at theming, and i don't want this one to be the same. A dragster is CORNY. The name had many a shun against it when they first announced it. Even my mom thought the name was pretty lame. They could have come up with a better name. Everyone knows that. It almost sounds like something a child would want to ride. Also, I'd rather like it if a whole bunch of biased NASCAR fans DIDN'T tell me "dragsters are cool" or "Jeff Gordon is god". Thank you.
