I think it was Arrow, so yea, Gomez is correct.
Wait, the title of this thread doesn't make snese anyway. Dragster isnt the tallest even if this isn't built. I think Top Thrill Dragster2003 is forgetting about a little hellion named Kingda Ka! haha

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.
I went to Vegas back in February and went to the top of the Stratosphere and rode everything. My friend was saying how he wished there was a ride that dropped all the way down and I said it was definately not gonna happen any time soon. The lady working on the X-Scream said they were actually thinking about one dropping off of it. I wasn't sure if she was kidding or being serious. That would be one heck of a ride. I seriously doubt it though.
The Stratosphere rides don't cater to my taste.

I enjoyed the rides. The Big Shot was great, just being 1,100 feet up to begin with, except for the constant Elvis song, Viva Las Vegas. The coaster was fun before they tore it down, mostly for amazing views of the Vegas valley, but everything is overpriced and crowded. To me it's a go once to say you went and thats it.

Actually.. the 510ft... or 700ft coaster was referring to the length, it would be more like a thrill ride instead of the hieght---- the track would be 500 foot long and make it appear like you were going to shoot right off the end of the track and down the side of the stratosphere tower.

Go about half way down the screen, the X Scream is a ride that is very very similiar to your idea. Except it's not quite 500 feet. *** Edited 8/3/2006 5:34:31 AM UTC by Chris Mills***

coasterguy - if you check the date this thread was created, you'll find that it was started just after TTD was built, and long before supports started showing up in New Jersey for Ka.
