Milleniums line is always longer than dragster. It seems not after 2 years ttd is not pulling in the crowd like its first year. Did cp expect this ride to have more staying power than it has. Did they expect it to have always at least 2 hour waits instead of the 45 min-hour wait it has now on crowded days?
1. When it is running, Dragster has higher capacity than Millennium Force.
2. At the moment, many people *expect* that Dragster is not running, and therefore won't wait for it.
As the crowds get larger and include a progressively smaller percentage of people who are in the park every weekend, expect the lines for Dragster to get longer.

You can include me on Dave's reason #2. People ask why I have not ridden Dragster yet this year. Simple answer for me is why take a chance getting stuck in line on an inevitable breakdown when I can ride Magnum multiple times in the same time frame.
Millennium has horrible capacity, so that doesn't help. Plus, like the others said, people are too afraid it will break down, even though the ride has been running great this year.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
As far as I can tell, people are still very excited about Dragster. The percentage of people in the park willing to ride Dragster is smaller than some of the other coasters simply because it looks more frightening.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
"people are too afraid it will break down"
Well, all I have to say is that those people should just take a chance. You never know how good something is if you don’t give it a chance and take a risk. And if your going to say "But waiting for Dragster when it breaks down is a waste of my time!" DONT!!! because how can you say that when you go to wait for Millennium when it can have long lines exceeding over 1 hour when you only end up waiting for Dragster for 30 min when it breaks down.
If you ride Dragster first, early in the morning (like I've always said), then you have it out if the way for you to ride everything else. And don't give up when you're in line and it breaks down because it could be a short 5min or less wait. Getting out of line is a big mistake!!!
So just take a risk and stop being afraid. You'll never get anywhere if you don’t do both. Dragster has been running very well so just GO FOR IT!!

This is apparently only applicable to those already turned away from Millenium.
Goodbye MrScott

That looks a lot like Walt's photo, and what was the point of that. I heard that song so many times it's sick.

Unfortunately, my first trip of the season keeps getting postponed, but I was there 3 times toward the end of last season, and the line for Dragster was BY FAR the longest line (easily an hour or more every time). MF was long, but not as long as TTD. I think the seat belt fiasco is probably what is making the MF line seem longer, but hopefully that's sorted out.
As others have mentioned, now that the summer is here, the lines are going to be much longer overall. I for one will be thrilled if I only wait for 45 minutes for Dragster!
One more week and I'll find out... :)
I wouldn't worry about it. The shorter the line is the better, I'd say! I'd love it if I was the only person in the world who liked TTD, then I'd have it all to myself ;)

I've ridden Dragster before and I know it's not worth the chance. I've experienced "the best white knuckles on the planet" and I'm content, I'd much rather ride the other coasters/rides in the park. In no way am I saying that Dragster isn't a good ride, I just prefer other rides over it. If the line is a decent length I'll hop in, but if it's been off and on all day I won't take the chance.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
