Downtime Question

Seeing Wicked Twister down for 10 days earlier this season, or remembering Dragster's downtime in 2003, got me wondering, what do all of the crew members do during all of that downtime? I would think that they would be put on an understaffed ride or something, but it is the middle of July, so all rides should be fully staffed, right? My only other guess would just be to have them not doing anything, but that wouldn't be very productive, would it? Thanks in advance for the answers.

I think they move into other departments and on to other rides. I recall some employees from Wicked Twister last year were working the front ticket booths.

Yes, that is what they do. They put you where they need you. Yes by the middle of July we are pretty well staffed but there is contracted time off for people, so they can fill in there also.
