Wow, maybe I should have made a Millennium Operation log instead of a Dragster Operation log.:)

uh....I was just at CedarPoint 10 mins ago...and it's not running....
the good news is.....................

Me and my dad sat on the side of MF and "the boss" and one of the workers were under the trains working on them or something, and then they moved the trains back. The blue on is in the station, and the yellow and red ones are in the side thing...
Hopeing that we didn't drive 13hours to miss our fav. ride...
I'll be there tomorrow...

I'm sorry guys, I broke it last night.

Seriously. I rode it at 9:15 PM with Rob Willi and when we hit the brakes, we didn't go anywhere for about 10 minutes until they finally walked us off and they never came back up :(.

It's closed today as well...
Since it's not open I'm not going to waste another full day there...the lines were horrible yesterday. With MF down it's a doulbe wammy. Cause the other lines will be even longer, and the #1 coaster is down.

We drove from BE to the park around 730 to see if anything changed. Sign up says it's not open today. Online says it's closed. And the BE sign at the front desk doesn't have it on there ERT thing.

CedarPoint just isn't CedarPoint without MF...

Then what was Cedar Point in 1999 and the years before that when MF didn't exist yet?

Yeah, Josh and I ended up getting the last ride of the day. That was an awful time to try to use "Parent Swap." Only because the ride crew held onto the swap thinking the ride would be up later that night.

Apparently I jinxed the ride because I made a point to tell the crew how much they friggin rock! I NEVER wait in a line for MF in the last few years but they keep me coming back for more this year.

Adam: That's ok, Dragster was still up and down like normal the past few days. Nothing has changed except it's managed to skip a long downtime this year.

It is still down today (7/7).

Yes, check in the park on the CP website and it has ride availibility.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

Well hopefully it's running tomorrow, because I"m going tomorrow. Does anyone know what's going on with it this time? Last month it was the lift motor, now what?

JuggaLotus's avatar

I believe people were mentioning the lift motor again. Its somewhere in this thread or the other one discussing the downtime.

Goodbye MrScott

John

I have heard from others on other sites that it was indeed the lift motor, that it was not strong enough to last. I don't know if this is 100% true, but that is what I have heard. It definitely makes sense.

"That's one big MF!"
I <33 MF and El Toro!

Was that motor made in the U.S.A.

Millennium Force is down again today (7/8) according to Today in the Park.

It's down again today for (7/9). I miss Millennium Force, I hope they open it up soon. It's just not the same not seeing him run during the day.

Sad that when MF has a great crew it's down all the time.
