Yup, Breakers does have ice machines. I think they are on the first floor for the older section of the hotel. Not sure about the other floors though. There used to be a map on their website but I can't seem to find it.

On a 90 some degree day they'd probally melt before you got them back to the hotel. ;)

This is totally not enforced but it is "technically" illegal to bring alcohol into your room. I am not from Ohio so I was surprised by this law. Not sure if that is what you want a cooler for but the only place you are really allowed to drink is LHP. No one does anything but I would conceal it in case you get an employee who is overzealous.
There are signs on all the doors with the non smoking info.
I'm going out to get some air.
If I ever opened a hotel, there wouldn't be any ice machines, but I'd make damn sure I sold ice in the gift shop. :)
edit: also only lukewarm tap water, nothing too cold, because I wouldn't want it to be drinkable. Course', I'd sell bottles of 33 degree filtered water at a slight upcharge in my vending machines. :-D
Wait a second, I shouldn't be running a hotel, but I think there's a viable business opportunity out there for me somewhere.
e x i t english said:Nope, they make you go to Meijer and buy bags of ice. :)
And booze.....don't forget booze.
I hardly ever use ice when staying somewhere. I had a bad experience with some ice I had got at a hotel one night. All night long I heard this strange sound I could not place and it was freaking me out. It wasn't till in the morning that I heard the sound again to find it was the ice settling as it melted......sad I know.>_>

If I ever opened a hotel, it would be across the street from Josh's hotel. I would advertise free ice and free filtered water, but my rack rates would be 25% higher. :)
