Do you think TTD fitts in

TTD is undisputibly a fantastic ride but dose it fitt in to the park. My opinion is that it looks great in the skyline but loos a little odd in its spacing. It takes up allot of room because of its lenght. Dose it look at home in the park. Some rides that when new look perfect in there posision almost as if thay had been there for far longer than thay have. For example Millenium Force looks to be perfectly situated.
IMO, I think it looks great right where it's at, although the grandstands do look a little out of place.
I think it looks great.
how does it take up a lot of space? many of hte other coasters at cedar point take up a lot more space than TTD. Cedar point moved some other things around to fit TTD in, so there was already things in it's place before. it fits in great!

I haven't been to Cedar Point yet this year, but I've seen pictures and of course the live web cameras on the site. From the pictures it looks great. It fits in with the atmosphere of Cedar Point. Another record breaker. Therefore, it fits in perfectly.

I am still not impressed with the color but the size of it doesn't seem to be a problem. I am glad it didn't go on the beach.

No matter where you go, there you are.

The grandstands need to be closer?? Closer to what? They're only like 20 feet away from the track as it is. I think they're located perfectly.

Come on people, this poetry's not going to appreciate itself!

ITtakes alot of space from the scenary mainy trees were moved and the water was mover. I remember the strech between power tower and gemini as a nice forest aria which was different to the rest of the park.

JUST MY OPINION (dont get me wrong is a great ride)

While looking at the park from the distance, everything looks out of place because the whole place just looks goofy, in a good way. There are rides popping up everywhere. Very la di da. Dragster doesn't look any goofier out there.

Standing there, looking down at the Dragster midway from the top of Magnum...I'd say it fits in quite well! ;)

There is a spot in the back of the main parking lot where Power Tower and Dragster line up perfectly

i kind of liked how it used to be so forested in at that area. now it's more open. i liked it when the trees were there because it's so different from pki, where i live closer to. but it is still very good how it is and it is very unique and one of if the not the best themed area in the park.

i do believe the park has taken the fact that it does not fit in the park and will be removing it at the end of this season. ugh. i hate stupid people. its' a ride, get over it.
when im standing in the queue, i really dont feel like im in cedar point. its strange. i feel like im some where else, NOT at cedar point. from the midway it looks good; its just that queue. maybe because it's SO claustrophobic in the last 45 minutes or so...

yeah i know what you mean rogue...i like the first part of the line, but as soon as you hit the walled up part, it feels out of place.

but other than that i think TTD is in a great place in the park, you couldn't have placed it in a better place than where it is

Wow. The topics get even more interesting. What's next? A topic on 2004? Oh wait, that's right, a few unsatisified people similar to the ones in this thread already posted questions about what's to come, apparently un-impressed by TTD.

No matter what the park builds, NOT EVERYONE will be satisfied. You build the world's tallest and fastest coaster, and the tree-lovers complain. You build a dinky flat ride and the thrill-seekers complain.

It's a lose-lose situation. Again, this post does not apply to everyone in this thread, but some.

TTD was placed very well. CP doesn't really have a choice when adding new things to take out trees. The park is covered with cedar trees. Also if you want trees surrounding you go to the Frontier Trail it is the best place in the park. The theme of the ride is awesome. The station design is awesome. You just have to get used to the new look of the park.

I'm not going to lie to you. I am not that impressed with TTD, especially with CPs last record breaker, MF. Even people who are far from roller coaster "enthusiasts" say it comes off as a cheap attempt to break the coaster record. My friends don't even consider it a roller coaster. Call me crazy but I don't think anyone really likes the fact that the ride has one element and lasts 17 seconds. Don't get me wrong its still fun, but I'm a little disappointed.
