I agree the jackets were crap - mine is still in the wrapper. If I thought I could get more than 2 bucks for it, I'd put it on eBay.Not sure why I keep having to wait in that damn line to get my photo taken every single year though. I understood this past year when they changed the system completely, but it's kind ridiculous that the park continues to set itself up for an opening day cluster by not getting the majority of passes renewed by mail or right at the park during Halloweekends.
Yes they need to make some changes with that. They need to start taking pictures at about 8:00 instead of waiting for the line to build up. It would help some, and nobody wants to wait in line for the pass to wait in more long lines for opening day. We need all the time we can get for opening day. They really do need to take care of as many passes as possible on Halloweekends.
CP should give early pass buyers a 15% (at least) off voucher for use at one of their hotel properties. Maybe put restrictions on it so that it can only be used during the traditionally less busy times.
I think the park really benefits from CP pass holders returning on a frequent basis and convincing us to drop cash at CP when we have learned to avoid spending anything more than locker costs of $1 is a real task if you are tight on money.
Getting us to stay on the peninsula is the best way for us to open our wallets up to all the various shops around the point, and I think for any CP fan you should stay on point because your backyard is one of the great lakes, and the your front yard is the biggest rollercoaster park in the world.
It is a very exciting feeling to have, and the costs of Breakers is worth it if more people are given the chance.
CP throws all kinds of events that pass holders can go to, but really most of these events we cannot make it to. So when you have something that is redeemable at your discretion....it allows us to get all warm inside and crap.
I think giving a discount for hotels use to season pass holders is a great idea, I mean I live in Sandusky but if I had a coupon that was worth it I would be glad to spend it for a night or two in a hotel. Just to do something different, not to mention if I have friends coming in from out of town it would be nice to hook them up.

If their occupancy rate is already high at the normal prices, there's no way you're going to get a discount on rooms.
