So for Christmas I pretty much know I'm getting a season pass, but do we get any goodies this year with it for free like the CF VIP jackets last year??
Admission to the park for the entire season. And that's plenty for me :)

Those jackets were a stupid idea. They didn't help sell passes.

Sadly, those jackets were being sold at wardrobe all season for $10. They definitely aren't worth $10.

^$5 at the very end of the season!
cpfreak, you can find them on ebay just about every week.
They're ugly, and didn't look like they did a bit of good at keeping the least bit of warmth in, but hey - they say "V.I.P" on them, so they must be awesome, right??
Actually, I've found a pretty good use for mine as a barrier between my nice dress shirts and my heavy winter coats when I don't want to get all the fuzz, lint and crap that's on the jacket liner transfered to my shirts. It works pretty well, as it doesn't really add any warmth. Although they are useful for the spring when the temps during the day are just barely warm enough that long sleeve shirts are too hot, and the evenings and mornings are cool enough that you need long sleeves.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I like my VIP coat. My son wear his all the time. I wish they would have done something like that again. Especially when you give the pass as a Christmas gift. At least they have something to open besides a piece of paper!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
There's nothing wrong with the VIP jacket. It's a fine jacket for when it a little to cool, plus it's lightweight. I don't think it was intended to be the outerwear of choice for exploring the South Pole.
I think we are getting a little jaded.
Last I checked, pockets are pretty standard on jackets. As a result, the "VIP" jacket is an epic fail.

They were selling them at Geauga Lake's Holiday Sale. $15 to bag all thoose 3xs up.

Do I wear my VIP jacket everyday? No.
Is it the fashion highlight of my wardrobe? No.

Those jackets weren't just free they were technically -$10 since the price of the passes went up by $10 and the jackets went away after the end of the season.
That said, it has no pockets which means I have a hard time justifying wearing it and I too have not worn it yet. However, my Coastermania! Hoodie on the other hand, that thing has been used and I love it.
I agree the jackets were crap - mine is still in the wrapper. If I thought I could get more than 2 bucks for it, I'd put it on eBay.
Not sure why I keep having to wait in that damn line to get my photo taken every single year though. I understood this past year when they changed the system completely, but it's kind ridiculous that the park continues to set itself up for an opening day cluster by not getting the majority of passes renewed by mail or right at the park during Halloweekends.
