do rehires have to do background checks again

i worked the 2013 season and left without any problems so im guessing i would be a green light. I recently put in a new app friday and by monday it had been reviewed by two of my former managers. I am a bit concerned because that was monday and its now tuesday and still no word,maybe itll take a few days? Or is this a bad sign that i wasnt contacted immediately? Also if i am rehired will i have to do the whole background check thing again or can i just process in...please be descriptive because i have no idea what to expect and in freaking out

If you just put your application in on Friday, I wouldn't really start worrying for at least a week. They've seen that you've applied, and that's good. Just give them time, they're super busy at this time of year.

And yes, you will have to do a background check again.
