I'm pretty short so my head bangs on the OTSRs. It always gives me a headache...

Keep your head forward. Or is it back? Either way if you do one of those your head won't bang.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I Like The Corkscrew but i just can not ride it any more if you would see my thread "TOOOOOOOOOOOO To Tall For Some Of the Major Rides"(smoething like that) you will know why,But if did not have that problem i would still ride it today cause it is a first of its kind in many ways.
Personally, if I don't ride in the very front "Corkscrew" hurts my back, so I can't ride anywhere else, also I agree, it's too short of a ride, but it was my first major coaster I ever rode, so I do it for nostaglic reasons :)
Growing up I was scared of all the rides at Cedar Point, but one time when i was about 11, I manned up and told my parents I wanted to ride corkscrew. I loved it and dragged them on it 3 straight times! For some reason, however, the next time we went back i was afraid of them all again?! Glad I'm not now. But now that im 17 and about 6' it isn't one of my favorite rides but it should stay. The corkscrews over the midway are cool.
I think Corkscrew is ok, but yeah it can be pretty rough on your head and neck.
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
My first coaster - 1976 - what a ride! My daughters first coaster - 1999 ???? The ambiance it creates on the midway would be difficult to replace.
I do like the Corkscrew, but I agree it has gotten rough over the years.to me, it reminds me of the Corkscrew and the Double Loop that used to be at Geauga Lake. Good times...
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
