Discrimination

. It is not abotu the $1.95, no the amount of money is not hte problem, it is not about taking off the glasses, yes that is common sense, the point is, at any other ride in the park theree is some sort of provision offered for glasses ro loose articles, for example on Wicked Twisetr the host told me put my glasses down my shirt or on the shelf, last year on TTD I believe that I just put them in my hoodie pocket.?

It's funny that you keep bringing up WT as a example. So let's take MF as an example. MF has the same rules as TTD, and has had them since 2000. There is nothing new as far as TTD is concerned. You get on the ride at one point, and exit at a different point. I would rather see CP spend $$ on ANYTHING else other than actually paying a ride OP to transfer someone's belongings from point A to point B.

Can you see One-Eyed-Willie from the top of Magnum?

They shouldn't have to transfer anyones belongings ever.

Goes to show how cheap and lazy some people can be. They expect everyone to cater to their needs while they don't care about anyone else.

Can we say selfish?

ehhh, I am too lazy to read everything but I am an avid CP attendee and I think this is all nonsense. First off they will let you enter the line with glasses, cell phones..whatever..you just have to have them in a zipped/velcro pocket. That first post saying it's discriminating is the most assinine thing I have read in a year. That is what is wrong with America right there, that attitude. "The safety of others is less important than a few people having to do a little extra". If you can't deal with their rules don't go. THe last thing CP needs is a lawsuit on a ride like TTD. Also, like I read, TTD is like MF. So why is it being compared to WT? WT has one station, eh? Board ane exit at the same location. My take on all of this...

FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO WHINE ABOUT. Yah dont like it go somewhere else...shorter lines for REAL enthusiasts like me :D

Can we for once not shoot people down on these forums? And Jeff, sorry but, could you lay off a little bit on the harsh comments?
You're right... we all should just accept the actions of the cosmically stupid. It makes for fascinating reading I can't wait to see every morning!

2K, welcome to real life. In real life, everyone's opinions are not shared by everyone else and sometimes people get told they are wrong and sometimes feelings get hurt. This is what part of being in the real world is about.
You are always allowed to share your opinion. I don't think I've ever seen Jeff delete someone's post because it had a differing opinion from his (unless there was something else wrong, like it broke one of the forum rules). But just because you have an opinion doesn't mean everyone has to agree and as such you will have some who voice a differing opinion which you may not agree with, and are apparently taking to mean intolerance.

I like Jeff's comments. Their good for the occasional chuckle.
This place is better than Comedy Central.

I do understand why they have the rule, but I do not understand why they don't have shelves to set stuff on like every other ride.

Because you get off in a different place than you get on and they don't want your ass roaming all over the ride for your crap! How freakin' difficult is that to understand?

Well, if you think that having glasses is a disability, then it could be pretty difficult to understand.

Hmm. ESPECIALLY if you can't see without your glasses! I'm picturing Velma crawling into the path of an oncoming Dragster car looking for her glasses. Jinkies!

[runs into zombie]

Have you seen my glasses?

dude, put your glasses in one of your pockets...duh

Um..When I went about a month ago all I had to do was spend $2.00 on a little orange strap, man was that hard, then I simply went to TTD's entrance and the worker kindly asked if I had a strap. I showed her the strap and she said "enjoy your ride." Now i'm sorry but fastcar if you think that your being discriminated against get help... By the way Jeff Armani makes great glasses ;) *** Edited 6/22/2004 4:24:12 PM UTC by magnumrocks***
