Discovery Channel Premier
First off I want to thank CP for bringing us in for this Showing..You Guys are the Best:)
When I got to CP I Flashed our special Parking Pass and the guy just pointed..Not knowing where the heck he was pointing towards I just drove toward the front of the lot for a bit til I saw the roped off area for us invites..The guy working that area was much worse..I sware he was speaking turkish when telling me where to park..
Met up with Scott Short in the Lot and got processed in together for the Big Show..We decided to kill some time while waiting for Dan so we walked back to Force and snapped a few pics here and there on the way with the Digi..FOrce was way too long so we headed back to Raptor to meet the Magnum Freak.
After We all hooked up we went and found Dans GF Mindy then headed over to the IMAX for the Big Show..Met up with Mrs Raptor herself Jo! All we needed now was some popcorn and it would have been Perfect :)
Many CP celebs were there including one recent retiree sporting a Hawaian Shirt and looking as if hes enjoying Retirement very Much...
Our fearless Webmaster Jeff and his Wife Steph came in and the Gang was all set for a Great time
After Robin Gave all the introductions and we heard from Mr Kinzel, Dan M (WHAT!!), and the Producer we were treated to a Great Show gang..I'll spare the details as we've already given several things away and I don't want to spoil it for everyone..All I will say is that Discovery and CP worked together to present a Great Portrayal of a Great Park!! There are tons of things in this video that the GP doesn't get to see and will be surprised and amazed at!
After the Show they hearded us COWS over to the Courtyard for some serious eating! They had a spread that was simply stunning compared to the good food of Coastermania..We had Ribs, wings, fresh fruit, and cheeses, and Free BOOZE :) From a Bottle too..none of this Tap Crap...Some imports too! Best Part to me was just hanging out with good freinds after and chilling to a good time.
Unfortunatley for most of us we all had to work the Next AM so many of us split to make the treks home..Jo and I had a bit longer drive than most so we were anxious to get started...
