Disaster Transport's Entrance

^The haunted house is always left setup. They just move a few walls around to open up a hallway through the middle of it for Disasters queue. If I had to guess, the reason for the new entrance is because Pharaohs Secret is getting retooled into something new over the summer months. So rather than having guests walking through the middle of a construction site, they just shifted the entrance down a bit.

^Good idea. New haunted walk through!! Yay. :)

Let's Get Weird.

Did anybody else happen to notice new lights on the ride itself? Specifically, I noticed overhead groupings of lights -- I guess they're supposed to look like constellations or nebulae -- that zip by overhead in one or more of the tunnels. I don't remember seeing them last year. I'll have to ride it again to get a better look at them, but my initial opinion is that they're not bad.

I really believe that they are buliding a new and better haunted house. We need a new one anyway the other one been up for all 13 years of Halloweekend

Mike, I believe those "spots" in the tunnels have been there for a while, and are actually a part of the tube's construction, as I've noticed they are usually not as noticeable or even non-existent on overcast/cloudy days. Of course, I could be wrong and imagining things.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Interesting. I never spotted them before.

You're probably not imagining things. That's usually my job. : )

Having worked Disaster Transport for a few months two years ago, I can tell you that the lights you've noticed in the tunnels are just small holes in the tubing. As mentioned earlier, if you ride on a cloudy day or at night, you won't see them but if you happen to ride on a sunny day, you'll notice lots of "extra lights."

I guess in this case, poor upkeep works in the ride's advantage.

I think thay Should call that ride "Dilapidated Transport" nothing works in there anymore,I remember when you had cool lasers and lighting and smoke.
Now it's like thay don't even care about it anymore.
If you ask me i think that ride will go before any of the others!!!!

Did they cut down the size of the queue??? Last year there would be like, no wait, and we'd walk through all kinds of queue to get the entrance. But now it's that one room and then the stairs.

Huh.
